How serious do people think hearts are in terms of a challenge given we have to play Thursday Sunday and the fact that it's unlikely that given our form good one week bad the next that we can put say a run of wins together should we be worried?

After the very unsettling transfer window, the disappointment of the transfer activity and our CL exit; I actually thought we were starting to get a grip after beating Suduva and Sevco convincingly and playing well. However, last night has come as a bit of a downer and it puts doubt in our minds once again - from game to game as to what Celtic team turns up on the day?
I have still no doubt we are much better than any SPL opponent, but it's up to the players to prove it all over again consistently and regularly perform with pride, potency, power and passion.

Nobody will give us a chaĺlenge this season Patrick, just like the previous 7 seasons. Wasn't happy with the lackadaisical attitude last night and that would be my only concern, the players know they are streets ahead ability wise than anything in Scotland and it's their duty to prove it week in week out.

I was about to reply that hearts will not manage the consistency to challenge us. But then, we have no consistency ourselves. Don't think the league will be an issue this year but ell you what- Rosenburg will be well up for it this time around. Failing to beat them on Thursday is actually thinkable, and it shouldn't be.

If we are concerned about winning the SPL, the game against Rosenburg is f little consequences . If we, now reasonably well into our season and with almost a full deck of players to play with can't beat Rosenburg with ease, we need to examine our targets . We have bettered Rosenburg in the last two seasons with them nearly mid season and us pre -season.

Hearts will win there next two home games I have no doubts

Then there away to Rangers - if they win that then maybe we have a challenge this year

There next bunch of fixtures are then Aberdeen, Dundee, Hibs then Celtic

By the time we play them again it will confirm if they are indeed challengers.
