Came in from the game, had my tea, then watched the match on tv (Mrs T had taped it) what I found most telling was the after match interviews when Deila was asked directly if he had improved the team, he did not answer, then his other comment summed this clown up perfectly, he said the team were "nervous" when 3-1 up, ye Gods, playing at home with a massive crowd behind him, the league title all but guranteed and he says they were "nervous" that is what Deila has brought to Celtic a bunch of nervous players scared to make a mistake.

I don't see what is wrong with him saying that I think you are been severely over critical and just wanting to take pop's at Rd just for the sake of it if they where that bad we wouldn't have won today.

Of course they were nervous! He put efe on! Our own players are reluctant to pass to him . Big Eric was marking ambrose all second half :)

Have to agree timalloy very worrying how many off these players adopt the invisjbility cloak when things go even slightly awry, all well and good bringing in young players but you have to balance it with a couple of old experienced players to act like glue and bond them together that to my mind was deila's biggest mistake, that and the fact he wasn't a strong enough character to go to lawwell and demand the money for those type of players, this criticism has to apply also to Collins and Kennedy who could also see what the problems were but lacked the conviction to seek to have it rectified, the new man will have to hit the ground running and take some difficult decisions almost before he gets his coat hung up, can not gamble again on yes men like the 3 there now, time to get in a leader who actually leads, deila's 2years could take a lot more than that to put right.

So who you pick to fix the mess Connolly.

Timalloy I have moaned for nearly two years about rd, today me and my youngest son couldn't make today's game as he was playing in the Peterborough league tournament just missed out on a semi but recorded the Celtic match, when getting home watched the game same old Celtic under rd and not surprised with his comments, but I will say this I will remember rd as a the nicest manger in my life at Celtic, but as nice just wasn't good enough simple as that, but my 12 year of old was more excited than me that it was done and dusted we are champions why ain't you celebrating dad he said and when I really thought he was right good bye to rd thanks for your help at going for ten, two belongs too you, roll on the next 5 , I lived through the cheat years and r s might not be pretty under rd but he did the job and I'm now listening to Charlie and the boys and booked tomorrow off, so what I'm trying to say is iv been as poised off as you big fella but pick a glass up and celebrate we are champions, the next season is a different chapter in are history but that is then this is now so too all tims out ther hail hail, enjoy the moment.

Chris30 To tell you the truth none of the names in the frame would be my first choice in an ideal world I would push the boat out and bring in Rui Vitoria, but were we are today, I would say to a punt with moyes and round, not cheap Option I understand but what we need at this time, experienced, worked abroad, and has been involved in Europe, most of all would sort out the dressing room, and command their respect first doors.

Delbhoy, you sum it up well.

We need one of our own players to mark Efe 'Bombscare' Ambrose! lol.

Agree with most of that Connolly , Ronny's biggest failing was he was too nice a bloke , from the minute he agreed to take the job and told who his assistants would be and accepted it the writing was on the wall. On the bright side I truly believe we have a talented bunch of players (with a few obvious exceptions) who this season have only performed at the bare minimum for various reasons e.g playing a system not comfortable with, continually playing out of form and injured players and imo a split dressing room , with all that we still won the league relatively comfortably. Would like to see a management team come in that first of all command respect but just as importantly they ALL have a likeability factor.

Exactly mate we are champions yep it not been great under RD ill admit that but hopefully the board can get right man remember it's ok saying if we get Moyes or Rodgers we got a good manager but would still need to convince good players to come to spl Iam no expecting world class players but I reckon Moyes and Rodgers got more chance getting good players to sign for us than lennon has but honestly can't see Moyes or Rodgers taking it bit hopefully Iam wrong.

Fair post Connolly.

another boring rant about Ronny by timalloy some people on here need to take of the green tinted specs to say that it is all Ronny's fault that our defence are bottle merchant's is way off the mark it's been a problem for a long while before Ronny got here why not just wish the guy well and save your bitterness for the next non Celtic minded manager.

Some people think P L is really stupid . These idiots think that a strong manager and assistants would have embarrassed Lawwell into releasing funds for a particular player. Surely it wouldn't take a genius to know that Lawwell is wise enough to not appoint " strong characters" who will cause him problems down the line.
