The Celtic hierarchy has never hidden ambition in dining at the top table of English football where the menu is rich in quality and reward. If this is genuinely the case, why would they contrive to downsize and downgrade the status of our Club to that of European minnows? What purpose would that serve towards achieving their goal?

Deep down they know that it will never happen - even more so after the demise of what the English mistakenly term The O F.
SLY press all the buttons down there and are only too happy for EPL teams to get richer (even those who get relegated) while the SPL can be bought for 30 pieces of silver. The majority of English teams would also begrudge sharing the TV wealth with an SPL club (Celtic or any other) and many of them have desires of a European super league.
I agree the subject arises whenever the planets align, but the reality may be more towards the previously mentioned Atlantic League?
In the meantime, they are only too happy to dominate a third rate location (check the co-efficient) , just doing the basics as long as we finish above Sevco and the bank balance provides more satisfaction than pushing Celtic to be the best they can be.
All the while patronizing and antagonizing the supporters that dare to question their shortfalls and questionable decisions.

The Board need to remember where the money comes from, and to punish your customers the way our board does is financial suicide. If the fans start to boycott everything Celtic, the board are going to look really foolish.

They didn't, Uefa downgraded us by making the champions of our league play qualifiers in order to dine at the top table.
