Abada is again missing from our squad tomorrow.

Brendan previously mentioned his head isn't in a good place.
Now selling Abada is a "possibility"

Abada signed a new and improved contract a few days before he got himself injured.
I read it was a preventable injury.

Celtic have now been paying him for the last 5 months.
I reckon his new and improved basic wage, will be similar or more than his old pre September wage plus win bonus.

This can't be a weekly occurrence, waiting to see if Abada has his football head on.
Celtic will have enough drama to deal with weekly until the end of the season.

Maybe it's time to take the "possibility" out of the equation and announce Abada won't play for Celtic again and he will be sold in the summer.

He's letting himself down and biting the hand that's been feeding him since he was a youngster.

How much would we expect for him in a quick summer sale 5 -7 Mill?

So sad…. the whole thing.

My hobby is history and I’ve been reading about the war/ conflict in the Middle East for 55 years. The only sure thing I can say is the vast majority of people killed are innocents, often children. I don’t know how this will be solved, but ultimately there will need to be compromise on both sides.

No doubting the Brit’s and French only made things worse in the last century, but the conflict goes back long, long before the colonialists came.

I feel it’s bad for Celtic that we have a player who is not comfortable playing for us. There will be pressure coming from various quarters on him and he is a young man.

My humble opinion from a football / Celtic fan perspective is a small section of the Celtic fan base have made it very difficult for Abada to play for us.

I’m not saying it’s wrong to support the Palestinians, but the situation is now impossible for Abada.

For the record my view is that there should be a complete cessation of military activity and joint talks held to form a lasting peace, were both side can live in their own homeland.

I feel Abada’s wellbeing and family come first. If that means a move away, he will go with my best wishes and prayers.

That's it Buzz forget about the boys mental health, he should just man up and get out on the pitch and play! Seriously scandalous statement by the way. He's in an incredibly difficult position. If his heads not in the right place to play football then we should respect that decision. What's going on in his homeland is not his fault.

I could understand his mental health limerick if he was a Palestinian player or a Ukraine player.

The conflict started 4 months ago when Abada was injured.
Since then 96% of deaths have been Palestine people.

Fair enough if he has a mental health issue about playing football in general but it isn’t.
He doesn’t want to play for one club.
So he should stop taking our money and rip up his contract.

Deep River bhoy I think less than half that if we are selling a player who has done little or nothing this season . If he has trouble play In front of a Palestinian supporting crowd his options will be limited and we might be lucky getting anything.

Buzz Bomb, as far as I remember after training he had done his warm down and was returning to dressing room when he saw youngsters taking frees or penalties, he went over to join them and the injury occurred when he kicked the first ball.

If his head isn’t right, who is he going to play for? Who is going to buy him? Who is going to pay him a wage and for what? Does he retire? Can we claim on insurance? If it’s just us he doesn’t want to play for I’d expect a decent amount in return!

Or is it loan with option to buy and not on the cheap!
