I haven't posted in a long time. With a lot going on at home. But with the announcement today I'm torn, excited about the prospect of change, but also nervous. We only need to look over the road to see how quickly and badly a team can be miss managed. As much as I complained about lawwell, he was a steady hand. I don't know how much involvement he had over football matters, but off the field he kept things neat. I'm no business guru, but know enough to recognise that Desmond and Co aren't stupid and will not of been paying a high salary for no reason. Maybe it was so they could take a back seat, I don't know. I don't expect any changes to our playing budget, if anything it will probably be slightly reduced due to C.V. and smaller chance of champions league revenue. I know a lot of fans have called for lawwells head over past few years, but I'm not sure how it will change things. Should we run at a loss?
Also, Ed, keep up the good work. Always enjoy the site.

Benny I hear from a few folk at work who are big in to rugby that this guy comes highly regarded and respected from the world of rugby. Here's hoping because say what you like about Lawell ( Interfering in football things apart ) his record speaks for itself hence we are in as good a position as any football club and probably better than most in the current circumstances. I have to say I am excited about the changes developing and time will tell if they are the right changes at the right time I am sure.
