Well we won with a few goals to spare. But by no means it is all rosy. Yes we took the goals well and started decent and finally started to press the ball and try put the opposition under pressure.
But there is some serious questions on the fitness level. Yes we are playing a lot of games but some players like brown in particular was done after the hour. A few others were not far behind him. How can these guys appear not to be fit? It's now in Nov for god sake.
We all know the defending has been very poor and was certainly better today with guy putting their bodies on the line. But a big reason too is the defence seems to be getting very little help from the sitting midfields in front of them. I do feel it's down to fitness as we fade and badly during games.
How or why does Lennon not then make changes when it's clear to see some players are gone after an hour. I feel for both soro and particularly Turnbull must be fuming. The lad is getting no chances and if l was him l would ask to go out on loan in January as Lennon clearly doesn't fancy him.
Yes we have won which is great and not to be overlooked but things still do not seem right to me. The body language that both eddy and ntcham give off does not fill me with confidence.

Saved me writing a similar post; although I was very pleased with the way we played the first half and should have had more goals.
Leaving Eddy and Ntcham out of the starting line-up shows he is acting on the issue and bringing Duffy on for a short spell might have been a risk, but it was good man-management with a guy low on confidence and helped get Thursday out his system.
Can't get complacent; or even carry on the momentum as we now have two weeks to worry about CV affecting any more of our players.

It was a good victory today and if we can win at Easter Road it will be game on.
A big negative for me is we’re still giving away too many set pieces around our box.
And there’s an inevitability about conceding when we allow constant balls into our area for the opposition to attack.
The fans want our players to put tackles in but we need to tackle properly.
I counted 7 set pieces into our box in the first 24 minutes.
Four free kicks and three corners.
It’s far too many because it was the only time Motherwell looked threatening.

We tend to give away these free kicks because we are to slow to second ball is this down to lack of timing or fitness? Hh good posted ter and cm.

To be honest some of the free kicks awarded against us were laughable the same tackles against us were denied as were some that were worse.
