You know how you can still sign players, who are out of contract, well is there not some ageing talented midfielder like Lubo was when we signed him, out there, you see I don't understand Scott Browns present role in the team, I know he is the captain, and I give a thumbs up to that, but what other duties does he have, is he the midfield enforcer?, who wins the ball, and passes it on to more creative teammate's, do we really need that type of player, yes, but I think everyone in the team should be an enforcer, trying to win the ball of the opposition, that was what impressed me about Moussa, he would be back in defence trying to win the ball back of the opposition, if we had a more creative player in Browns place, maybe we wouldn't need to win the ball back, because we would keep possession more.

Agree1 Disagree1

I think its interesting to question roles

He isn't an enforcer
And he isn't creative
And he isn't terribly mobile, or at least isn't expected to be

Oddly enough many have said they we are loaded in midfield and that it is our strongest area of the park

I'm not so sure.

We have lots of midfielders

Sone overplayed
Some not played enough

And the majority off form

We have time ( not much) to re set and go again, but everyone has to bring something different as more of the same will bring the same outcome ( which we know isn't sufficient)

There was always going to be a transition and a changing of the guard. Personally, I don't think we have done too well with that but again we still have it all in front of us I guess

Interesting point though aindoh

Hail hail.

I think that young Robinson (spelling) , could be in Browns place, but I think he is out on loan now, I think he is a player, and should get in the first team when he comes back
I think it's an age thing, a growing old thing, when you start getting older, you don't feel it, if you are still fit, you can't accept it, that you are not as good as you used to be, even though you are a lot better than guys ten years younger, but you are not as good as the best guys ten years younger, so you can play alright against the lesser teams but when you come up against better than average players, your age starts to show, it's just a natural thing, but someone has to come and tell you, look it's time to take it easy for s while.

After the scott brown st j introduction NL ( stupidly in my view ) came out and snipped about brown doubters. He essentially said " this is proof " because brown came on and allegedly scored a double and set up two and dominated the ball with 5000 completed passes in 10 minutes

It's all very amateurish

Also, when NL plays to the galleries it does him o favours. again. its childish and amateurish

We deserve more maturity and more consistency from him

He needs a PR intervention
He needs a tactical re think
He needs to repair damaged reputation
He need to humble himself
He meeds to have a word with himself

He then needs to get those players around him that he trusts ( and those who respect him) and re set and go again.

But will there be 11 of them and will there be others forcing his hand

A fit motivated eddy will make a difference

Jullien and Duffy as a back 2 or Bitton in lieu of jullien

Ajer or elhamed at RB
Taylor left back

And toss a coin between bain and barkas

If we can get a back 4 and somehow stay in touch until eddy, griff, ajeti and foreest and johnstone are fighting fit so much the better.
