If no rabbit gets pulled out of the hat then I have to say I'm pretty disgusted with our transfer window. We've shelled out a decent fee for a striker with a pretty poor scoring record so far and a CDM who tbf looks pretty tidy but will need the inevitable bedding in period. The squad is crying out for a winger and a CB, Lennon was crying out for proven quality and experience, with 45 minutes to go we've got zero of those.

Hes got a better scoring record than eddy did when we first brought him in.

That's very true Kev but so did Balde and Bangura but our overall track record of bringing in young, unknown strikers with so-so records recently doesn't fill me with confidence. I'd be delighted to be proven completely wrong though. The fact that Lennon publicly said he wanted experience shows me that the window has been a failure.

Lennon quite simply comes out of this looking like a first class Moron! All month about experience needed, the week there will be 1 or 2 in! None of which happened! If I was him i would utterly embarrassed! But we all know he won’t be! Not unless lawell tells him to!

It was the exact same in the summer Danny. Whether he really believes it or not, he shouldn't say it because all it does is make him look dafte when it doesn't happen.
