Shankland scores again 🤔🤔the boy scores goals I know his family have alligences to the dark side but the bhoy knows were the net is, was slated by others for suggesting Celtic watched him against thistle and he could do a job for us “So In My Opinion He Could Do Us A Turn”just my opinion the boy scores goals some other who like stats look at the last 2 years of this boys stats, some players mature later than others and to me would be worth a punt I know we’ve just bought a striker but another one wouldn’t do any harm rather he was with us than against us 🍀🍀.

He scores goals at a very poor level.

19 Jan 2020 18:32:47
Kev does that mean he can’t score goals at a higher level?

Tell u what kev, we should turn this site into the let’s listen to kev show, u were told yesterday it’s a banter page you think your Juergen Klopp, you talked yesterday about arguing about Celtic on this page well I’m afraid I’m not here to argue with anyone simply to have a bit of light hearted banter, so the Scottish cup is a poor level 🤔 get a life n let other people have a bit of light hearted banter.

Da if your feelings are to fragile and getting your opinions questioned or disagreed with gets your panties in such a twist then don't put them up.

And if your going to quote me you should really use the whole quote.

There is only one person on this site that will tell me what to do on this site and that's ed007, it certainly ain't you.

Souny1888 no it doesn't but we do have recent evidence that stepping up from the scottish championship to the champions of the country in the top division is to much.

Scott allan was the best player in that division. We signed him and it was a disaster

Lewis morgan was the best player in that division we signed him and it was a disaster

Even Tony watt who was a boy full of potential and had all the attributes to be a success ended in failure.
And if I mind right none of them cost over a million pounds.

I'd say this shankland probably will score goals in spfl but is that the height of our ambition?
Why not give him a season up here to see if he can handle it? Yes it will probably cost a bit more money but it's less of a gamble.

To stop getting panties in a twist is that some sort of Freudian slip you have told a few this. Shankland has scored a lot of goals wether it be first second division etc it does not matter not a bad level. The main thing you have to be in the right place right time and have skill to do this so the lad has something I don't care what team he supports he has a gift. He's earning not bad money doing something he enjoys that must mean something, but the persons at Celtic whos job it is to scout players for us is not you, so they do know better than us and also will know about shankland and if Celts go in for him they don't care what you and me think.

I would take a punt on Shankland in a better team with better players give you the opportunity to become even better. Andy Roberston went and done it. Shankland is a striker who takes his chances. this is very important so surely playing for a top side like ourselves he would be still be able to do this? Jamie Vardy did it, so why not. its not like he is playing junior football or sunday pub league.

No other top level striker is coming to sit on the bench so Shankland makes perfect sense and the possibility that he will make the transition and be successful if he can we have a proven goalscorer.

Kev you could say the same about Klimala, the boy has only scored 8 goals this season and we’ve forked our nearly £4m for him, and nobody apart from the scouts know if he’s good enough. At least with shankland, there’s a boy there who knows how to put the ball in the back of the net. He won’t get a game ahead of Edouard, but I think we should spend the £1.5-£2m on him, it’s definetly no a gamble, and I think he deserves a chance.
