BR is a fan as well as a manager, even though he's outed the board I'd find it hard to believe he would walk away when he's on the verge of, dare i say it, "10 in a row".

Agree0 Disagree0

He will be off at the end of this season at the latest unless there is significant investment. Don't fool yourself thinking because he is a fan he will stay because he wont.

The 'verge'? Take it easy mate a long long way till that happens. This ten thing is becoming a noose round our neck like when we had to win to stop rangers (il) . The here and now matters most at this time.

if we don't get 10 it will be down to the boatd holding tbis great club back from progressing from strength to strength.

Yayo its not the Board. We have had the funds to go out and build a team. Our wage bill is £57mill. Aberdeens wage bill is £9mill. Hibs and Hearts about the same. Eddy cost £9mill and before you tell me we sold Armstrong for £7mill, what does that matter? We are spending more on 1 player than every team in the SPL (Rangers apart) have spent on their entire squad this transfer window. Just think about that. Rangers have built an entire new team for £9mill, so wake up. BR has been backed and backed again. Major mistakes was to spend £9mill on Eddy before he spent the money on 2 CB, s. We could have had 2 CB, s and McGinnfor £9mill. We should then have sold Boyata for £9mill to Fulham and we get all of our spend back. then we would not be having this discussion. These are decisions BR is making and he has got it totally wrong. BR is getting away with it because he has highlighted his need for players to the Board via the media. What the Board could say is that before BR came in our wage bill was £32mill, now its £57mill last season and will be £62mill this season. The thing is a mess, and it was avoidable. I can't see the point in BR pressuring the Board with his comments regarding transfers. I think he was out of order. He is a great coach but in my opinion he has dropped a big one this window. There may be things behind the scenes that went wrong we don't know about but you can't just say its the Boards fault because they did not just keep giving BR more money? Where does it stop? How much is enough. Well in most businesses its enough when you spend more than you generate and we are at that point. BR needs to get on with it. He has a squad that are paid more money in wages than Aberdeen Hibs and Hearts turn over in an entire season yet here we are wirrying that we might not win the SPL. Give me strength.

No way our player wage bill can be as high as £57m a year.
Don't know how many first team player we have. but say we have 30.

10 on say £25.000 pw = £12.5m
10 on £2o 000 pw = £10m
10 on £15.000 pw = £7.5m

Player costs. £30m

Brenden/ coaching staff. £4m
Think I have been generous with players wages.

That's a total off £34m on playing and coaching staff.

With Celtics near £100m turnover last season I think Brendan should be more demanding with the board.

{Ed007's Note - Our wage bill is £52 million a year but remember that covers every single employee at the Club not just playing staff.}

So there you are Bennybhoy. Ed says £52mill but that was last season. Its going to be £57mill this season. So now what do you want us to do? We will turnover about £70 mill and wages alone £57mill. Then all other costs on top of that. Its not sustainable in the long term. So how has BR not been backed. As i said our wage bill alone is more than Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen turnover. We should be out of sight every season which to be fair we have been for 7 years but adding more to the costs?

dazbhoy. What do you mean when Brendan is outed?
I never thought that Brendan's outing was on the cards.
