With the news that we are looking to sign Moses from hull on a free, after not playing for two years, it got me thinking. Generally most people think our weakest element is our defence, it especially gets highlighted if we make it to the champions league where we get torn apart at times. Why is it we never seem to want to spend on defence. We fell lucky with vvd but that rarely happens and I feel we just need to spend.

There are good defenders out there within our budget but we just don’t spend at all. Edouard was signed broke our transfer record. But we will sign another 2 players at the most I bet. Team needs freshened up and we just won’t get that. Again.

After the disappointment with Compper and Gamboa, I would have hoped we would have just went that extra yard and bought a quality defender that wasn't a risk or a gamble?

Where did anybody say taking this guy means we don’t buy other defenders? Do you honestly think Celtic would take such a risk with literally tens of millions involved in a player who could break down?
Behave yersels. If he makes it we have a good player for eff all. If he doesn’t he won’t be the only RB. We will strengthen in defence, a possible £60m to be had won’t be rushed.
Defenders will come. Other than Moses.
