Watched game 2day and wondered y they were so far ahead of us in league .We must keep our good form going and get even better .Been reading Brown could be back 4 Wed , honestly I don't want him near the team ,Kayal is unbeaten as captain so y change team to suit him .I know it's still a long way 2 go but we r starting 2 look as if we have the look of a team who are starting 2 believe themselves ,we don't need Brown cos I don't think his heart has ever been in it I have never liked him as a player and to give him the captaincy was a joke but it's only my opinion and I'm only interested in the future of CFC.........DH

just saw on another site,that kirk donkeyfoot got out his car and had a go at 3 rangers supporters.heard he was arguing with them at the end of the match,whilst still on the pitch,then confronted them outside the stadium after the game,and was told to get out of it by strathclydes finest.obviously worse carry on than lennys tiff with supporters midweek,but will we read about it in tomorrows daily rangers?answers on a postcard.

I was offered a ticket (free one too!) this evening for the Athletico Madrid but due to the fact that it's a 6pm k.o there's just no way I can make it there (work and actually driving through the rush hour traffic!!). Its just shocking, why 6pm k.o?? Its a real shame cos there's no way it'll be close to being full at all.
UEFA at it's best as usual, I realise that we get one game at 7.45pm then the next at 6pm but it's just stupid. There's no way anyone can justify this to me, really p1ssed aff at not getting the chance to go as I think we have a good shot at beating them too.
Hail Hail

Is that you getting your excuses in just now for the low crowd lol. Only kidding mate that kick off time isn't good for anyone. The way I look at the Europa cup is it's just a distraction away from the league. I know it brings extra income but it can be more hassle than its worth.

Oh you had me going there for a minute!! LOL. It's just ridiculous, glad to see you agree. So whats your take on today then bud?? Any players you don't think should be playing for you?
CB67

Personally I cant see what Edu gives you at all, there's nothing about him. Bedayou (spelling) looks shockingly bad and Alluko had a bit of a mare too but I think he will improve as the season goes on.
CB67

Agree0 Disagree0

The only change I would make is moving Whittaker to left back and put McMillen at right back. Edu and McCulloch shouldn't play in the same team. I think Ortiz should be given his chance a right mid. But who I'm I to tell our manager how to do his job lol.

Can't wait till the old firm game in the end of December, I'll be in New York at the time there's a wee irish bar over there called O'Donaghues it has a great atmosphere. And you always get a good pint of tennents too, so I can't wait for that. I'm petty confident we'll malky them at paradise. Mon the Hoops!!

Was on a while ago questioning the signing of another centre midfielder in Wanyama. Glad to see him playing well in a number of positions. The reason I questioned his signing was I felt a Target man and a centre half were more important, also they needed to be more experienced as we have too many young inexperienced players. Glad to see NL has finally realised this and will be looking to sign 1 of each in January. Ed any idea of the budget NL will be given to sign these players? I keep hearing O'Connor will be the Target man but I hope this is wrong.

Niall {Ed007's Note - I wouldn't even like to guess what his budget will be, sorry. A lot of people are talking about O'Connor going to us or Rangers, I can't see either happening. His off field problems should surely come into the equation. We have a relatively young squad, I don't think it would be beneficial to have someone like him around.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

To be honest I questioned why we signing another CM player at the time, just due to the fact I felt we were fine in that position. But thankfully the kid has proven to be another great signing (As has Ki,Izzy,Kayal,Mathews,Ledley.the list goes on and on) when I read he was an Essien like player I laughed but he really is and for a tenth of the price. We seem to have a nack at signing relatively unknown or unproven players who after a short period prove to be fantastic buys. These players have came to C.P and performed great, this also puts there price up significantly so it's great for us (although I don't want to see any sold on).
IMO if we just finally get a couple of good, big Center backs and were sorted, as we seem to be properly gelling into the team we showed we could be towards the end of last season.
Keep up the good work bhoys.

Hay ed been thinking about the Europa league and I wouldn't be to worried if I don't get to the next round because I don't think we are that stuck for cash. If I was Lenny I would play my second string team because we have hard game away to Dundee on sunday. I'd start guys like bangura. Paddy, Ki, cha if fit mulgrew, brown if back in time, zaluska. We should focus on the league because thease 6 clock kick off is not filling park head. I know people who bought tickets will be givingout but just thinking ahead. I like to hear what others think. Bigirishmac. {Ed007's Note - The SPL title should always be given priority.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

If i'm honest, i didn't think we'd get 5 points never mind into next round. I want to concentrate on league - Atletico will be difficult & hopefully will leave a few of their players out - Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Mrs E, think positive. Our confidence is coming back and so are our injured players, we are signing good players also.
Next sunday will be a good test if we are back as tannadice is always hard to go to but I am confident we are getting back to last season's form hail hail Timalloy

Ed how many points were Rangers in front at one stage was it 15 and Celtic had 2 games in hand or was it 12 with 1 game in hand? So it was always really 9 points. Another question Ed what was the real figure Sone Aluko had to pay towards the transfer fee. I'm sure I read somewhere that it was £15k and Rangers paid £135k but Rangers have asked if they can pay it over 135yrs lol. With today's result I'm still feeling low but I've got my wee bookie line to cheer me up lol. This is the kick up the BUM the Rangers players need. Well that's my opinion.
In Ally We Trust
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - It was 15 points with two games in hand. I'm not sure the details of the Aluko deal, surely Rangers weren't haggling over £15k?}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ed what I've been told is Aberdeen were due £150k for Aluko. £135k Aberdeen and Aluko was due £15k. Rangers have agreed to pay £50k just now. £35k Aberdeen and £15k to Aluko. With the other £100k due in the summer if Rangers take up the option to extend Aluko contract by two year. But then Aberdeen changed the goal posts and wanted £50k up front but Rangers refused and that's when Aluko said he will put £15k in to cover it. It's just what I've heard could be wrong. My mate that's a Celtic fan sent me a picture MSG of an advent Callander of Ibrox. I've put it on the dodge sightings if anyone wants a look lol. He also said that boy Celtic signed this week went off injured today with a bad knee injury (Lustig) did you here that Ed?
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - I know he was substituted but I don't know much about it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Followfollow81, yes you were 15 points ahead now only 4, be afraid ha ha. You cannot even say Aluko is a waste of money, as Whyte never spent any ha ha, as you bears kept telling us every week Sportcene is on at 10.pm BBC2 featuring the Celtic goals fest and er Rangers blank fest LOL Timalloy
PS heard about your big win, A Mr C Whyte of Edmiston Drive, wants your phone number to tap a loan ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

I can imagine the ALUKO on your face when your mate sent you that pic FF81 (sorry) - Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy it was alway just 9 points Rangers were ahead really. See how it can all change in the space of a week? Dont get to cocky lol. Not once have I said to you to watch bbc2 for the football. I would never promote bbc not after what they did to our owner. As I've said before Tim I don't allow the wife to watch Eastenders, the kids aren't allowed to watch CBeebies or CBBC and I can't watch MOTD. I'm not going to back down on this one. I'm finished with b b c l m a o.
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - LOL What happened to all the talk about 'having the points on the board that count'? Look through the older posts and see what Rangers fans were saying, not one of them mentioned it was really only 9 points, even you mate.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Followfollow81, not watching that great Institution BBC? Don't worry I am POSITIVE our generous fans will post links to all our goals LOL Timalloy
PS can you PLEASE give Mr Whyte an answer I hate to see a grown man cry.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed you can look through to the start of the season and I bet you my bookie line that I've never mentioned anything about being 15,12,9,7 or 4 points ahead apart from just now lol. That is not my style. I'm to long in the tooth to mention anything like that because it can come back and bite you on the bum are you listening Tim, Miko? Don't you just love the banter? Lol
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - Yeah you probably didn't mention it, but even to other Rangers fans saying it, how many said it was really only nine point as CFC had games in hand? It was all 'points in the bag' etc, I even agreed with that statement and always have. Better with no ifs and buts over games in hand, get the games played and see what needs done.}

Agree0 Disagree0

FF81..I had a horrible experience on my facebook after the Hearts game when we went 10 points behind with all these 'mind the gap' jokes, all of them from one person. I'm sure they weren't aimed at me but this person went way OTT. Had 'Something Inside So Strong' jokes the lot.. Today, nothing. Absolutely nada.. I'm sure Celtic will drop more points - Mrs E {Ed007's Note - Both teams will drop more points through out the season. Obviously I am biased but I think CFC have done fantastic to pull it back to four points so quickly. Yeah it's still four points but look at what it could have been.}

Oh Ed...believe me, i'm over the hoopy moon we've pulled it back. - Mrs E {Ed007's Note - I don't think we will be the only ones Mrs E :-)

Yep fair comment from a rangers man,so I respect your honestly. I actually posted a comment earlier this week saying that I respected Alluko for what he did regarding the money he paid to Aberdeen. Ok he was at fault for the goal today but there's a long long way to go bhoys.
I think (as posted earlier by "Lenny"??) that when Jelavic commented to the press that the league was over this will come back to haunt him, and has bigtime today.
So lets not get too carried away bhoys there's alot of football to be played before anything is decided.

Hi ed,

What a wonderful weekend.

I said after the Dunfermline game that I would reserve judgement on whether we had turned it around.

After the game yesterday I am willing to eat that statement, there was some fantastic work put in by the whole team.

If we can keep this going and if the Rangers keep faltering Motherwell may catch them.

Any news about Glenda, he had a not bad game yesterday but I think his contract is running down. He signed August 2008 for 4 years so why no news on a new contract. Anyone know anything? {Ed007's Note - I'm not sure if CFC will offer him a contract. Some Championship teams are interested in him.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yeah IMO they'd be daft to offer a new long term contract. Every year he's been here he's been a liability. He's had some great games, and has been a different player this season but I reckon and hope Lennon has other plans to bring in someone new. I'm sure we've probably tried to sell him before as well and had no luck so it's not like extending his contract will help the club make money.

Who's Glenda?? {Ed007's Note - Glenn Loovens.}

A measly 62% scoring rate. Time to settle on Big Dan who has a 100% record 14 out of 14.LOL. But seroiusly we need to stick with 1 guy all the chopping and changing doesnt work. The way I see it if Stokes misses 1 next week the chances are he would probably score the next 5, so stick with him.
