absolutely! FIFA is among the most notoriously corrupt institutions of our most decadent era. The Qatar slavery issue is a no-brainer or should be for every fan of football. Brazil was bad - but this is so much worse. Fingers crossed.

I would love it if the World cup was taken from Qatar, it should never have been given to them in the first place, but I fear the corruption runs so deep, and so much money has changed hands, that I think they'll just tough it out.
Does anyone know why Scotland are playing Qatar in a friendly?, you would think with the conditions the workers there are working under, that the SFA would take nothing to do with them, as a warm up for the Republic of Ireland match, it doesn't seem to make any sense, so what are the SFA getting out of this.

The FIFA election going ahead on Friday with all the arrests of senior officials today is a scandal in itself. What company, institution or government would get away with that?
Blatter has run FIFA for years and managed not to get tainted despite the well known cronyism and corruption.
He comes out today and says the indictments driven out of the USA are nothing to do with him. REALLY!
He has run the place for years. he either knows what's going and condones it, that's CRIMINAL OR, he does not know what's going on and that's INCOMPETENT.

Spot on, Gerry, with the Scotland friendly: an atrocious decision which, if I recall, is set to cost us in official ranking *even if we win*, since Qatar are so lowly in the footballing order. Only thing that would fix it would be a serious boycott.

I can't honestly think for 1 second that no one that has been lifted by the FBI will not turn on Blatter.
If my understanding is correct , the only way that Blatter can be removed is through a Vote of No confidence by the committee,or he resigns( NO CHANCE OF THAT ) and if they are still available to make that vote and not locked up.

The game is corrupt from top to bottom . FIFA , well documented , UEFA , various different levels of corruption including constantly fining Celtic if anyone amid the Celtic supporters let's off a flare, yet other clubs belonging to other associations have fans letting off significantly more flares with no punishment .
SFA , always corrupt, recently deciding Dave King to be a fit and proper person ,
( must class as the most corrupt decision by any football association worldwide )
At the bottom , Sevco, a club with no history and no Licence , pushed and cajoled the SFA by promises and threats to get into the Scottish league in 2012 .

With every level of the game corrupt , it's pointless for us fans to get to worked up and excited about future success , as it is clear that there are no level playing fields in football. We can batter away against the corrupt officials that run our game , as the next tier is just as corrupt if not more so.

There is no doubt that FIFA and the various authorities under them UEFA and in our case the SFA are all corrupt . The SFA knows that no matter how corrupt it acts the authorities that oversee it are so corrupt they will turn a blind eye , to keep their own corrupt practices under wraps .
I wonder if America and the FBI have started investigating FIFA for selfish political reasons , to embarrish Russia , or do they really care that much about football or what they call soccer

We had a documentary on norwegian tv about different supportergroups. He traveled to Montenegro to follow the supporters on their trip to see their side play against Serbia. They where traveling by bus and was stopped at the border to clear out any flairs and sutch.
They confiscated over 200 different weapons, including (and he had to google it to find out what it was) a middevil weapon used to crush a mans balls. He even went to the game (he is a big man, 6"3 and 110 kilos) and said he was really affraid for his life.
