Heard Leigh Griffith got arrested/charged for shoplifting a bottle of lucazade from tesco....Anyone know anymore on the matter or is it a rumour?
If its true, I hope all the leigh Griffith fans who thought would do us a job have been suitably put off! Rascal!

Got a question, If The Rangers 5088 get to the Scottish Cup Final, (Which I highly doubt with there squad) Don't they get Europa League place even if they don't win the cup? Would Love to see them play a team like Cliftonville F.C. from Northern Ireland and see them lose 5-0 In Ireland and 0-6 at Mordor that's how much they lack in quality haha Hail Hail! FifeBhoy1888

Believable5 Unbelievable7

Can't play in Europe until 3 years accounts have been submitted irrespective of them winning or getting to the final.

Agree7 Disagree0

What have cliftonville done to be insulted like that ?

Agree5 Disagree1

Banned from european competition until they can show 3 years accounts mate. The could win it for the next 3 years and still not get into any kind of european competition.

Not a rumour, but just watched Juventus draw 1-1 at home in Serie A against relegation-threatened Genoa, who were down to 10 men through injury. They will obviously be a difficult task, but the more I watch them, the more I think there are so many areas in which we can exploit their weaknesses. Anelka signing for them does not frighten me as I believe he is definitely past his best. If we can stop their midfield with the likes of Pogba, Pirlo and Marchisio then we definitely have a really good chance.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Feel the same, all we need is our defense to stay solid and not let chip passes and runs in behind them.

Agree3 Disagree2

They will not be confident coming to cp. it will be very tough but better have fallen. pirlo is the key man. we have to keep a clean sheet above all, that will make them nervous on their ground.

Agree3 Disagree2

I've been telling my mates for weeks that we have the beating of Juve home and away, .nothing to fear HH

Agree2 Disagree3

Agree. Clean sheet is a must. If all fit, I wouldn't play Izzy, has a tendancy to walk back into position. I'd like to see Lustig and Matthews start.

Melb Bhoy

Agree3 Disagree3

I got a feeling a bad decision or a dive could cost us a place in the last 8, imagine if we won 1-0 Parkhead, 0-0 in Turin will 10 mins to go they'll try dive and the ref might go with the crowd... My biggest worry is getting cheated Juventus are the most corrupt team in Italy.

Agree1 Disagree3

Tbh when the draw was made it could have been worse. Heard they play 3-5-2 but the last few games they have went 4/4/2. If you notice their scores they win one draw one.

At Celtic park I really think we can take them maybe a tight 2-0. If the same stay the same no one leave & no injuries then I would say we're in for a shout...alot can happen in 180 min

Looked at the schedule lately hearts Dundee utd st mirren today & killie on Wednesday ICT sat early kick off then juve Tuesday. a lot of game time so wouldn't mind taking the foot off the gas for the league were 12 points clear & since the winter break we have scored 8 goals & let in one fluke goal.

Today - 3-0 Celtic stokes hooper & lassad

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree1

I appear to be a dying breed, a realistic fan who doesn't see everything through green tinted glasses. Lets be honest, Juventus will hardly be quaking after seeing yet another Celtic team crumble at the thought of a cup final. Shocking.

Evening ed,

Not posted in a week or so, but this hooper saga, ano he hadn't signed a new contract but if he wanted out so much am sure he would be putting a transfer request in as he knows there's interest.

Personally I don't think he will be at the hoops in February but whatever happens the hoops will flourish with or without him because there's 10 more players on the park which makes his chances possible.

Anyway on for a late one tonight, Danny oconner the pro boxer who came onto pitch during champions league match is fighting tonight, the bhoys brilliant he wears the hoops in the ring and a good fighter, at midnight a link goes live to watch his fight on the celtic website.

Hail Hail

Cumby Bhoy {Ed007's Note - Hi Cumby, always nice to hear from you. If Hooper puts in a transfer request it would cost him money and it could turn some fans against him. The last thing he wants to do is cause any bad feeling between the club/fans and himself.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I knew if he done so it would cause issues with fans/club, but didn't realise that it would cost him money, maybe if money is the big issue here which with each day of this goes by makes me think it is there's no chance of it happening.

Again ed on the ball cheers

Surely Hooper won't sign for Norwich after they're beating by the team who are sitting 6th or 7th in the Conference, and Norwich were beating at home. Surely? unless he want's his career to go downhill... FifeBhoy1888

The Ranger's 5088 1-1 Montrose... It's the gift that keeps on giving... FifeBhoy1888

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Surely the fact that Rangers had to play against 11 men for a whole 90 minutes wouldn't have anything to do with it. lol

Plumbbobsquarepants

Agree3 Disagree1

The story of the day is Zombies unlimited, The Rangers5088, finally got to play 11 men. Amazing what happens with an honest ref. was he grade1 SPL?
The secret is for third div clubs not to give them a reason to get booked. McCoist to drop a 19 point lead this year after dropping a 15 point lead last year?

Agree4 Disagree1

Who was the ref today ?

Sure there will be a complaint from Fat Sally if he wasn't another hand picked SPL ref !

Agree4 Disagree1

To No.2 post

The ref wasn't that honest. I only caught the last 15 min after switching over from Stoke v Citeh but there were plenty of 'honest mistakes' in that time. After Montrose scored, he missed a blatant handball by a 'Rangers' player who controlled the ball with his arm before laying it back to Black who fortunately hit the outside of the post rather than the back of the net. Then Sandaza scuffed a shot wide but the ref gave a corner instead of a goal-kick. Ironically, if he hadn't completely ignored a barge in the back on the Montrose player on the edge of the 'Rangers' box, the ball wouldn't have broken to Gray to crack it it from 25 yards. So, I suppose these things really do even themselves out.... ;-)

If Wanyama was to move he'd need to apply for a work permit because Kenya aren't in the top 70 countries. Do these players have to apply for another work permit every couple of years...? He's already playing in the UK...

Yep. They're really drilling him with some hard hitting questions, particularly about the seat colours. I'd say green can't believe his luck that he's got these clueless zombies filling his pockets.

Staged managed the meeting with tame questioners in the audience, then the time was taken up and he left. Remarkably he said rangers (Rangers) would not be playing in Scottish football by the time he leaves. Curious. Given they cannot play elsewhere, that must mean this new venture dies also.

We have to admire george galloway calling out the ongoing nonsense in govan maybe at last we will get a definitive admission that its a new club
Gally

Believable11 Unbelievable3

This is long overdue. How on earth this has went so long without the SFA giving a statement is beyond belief. This happens all the time in business, company in trouble, folds and starts again. The difference here is green is trying to say certain parts are exempt so he can carry on with the colours, badge etc of the defunct company. I would hope BDO sort it out but that will take possibly years........green jhedi

Jungle Jim

Agree8 Disagree1

There is no reason why the SFA can declare it a new club immediately. The SFA has treated it as a new club.
BDO do not need to await the end of the liquidation process to clarify now that the CVA failed and Green did not buy Craig Whyte's football club.

Agree7 Disagree1

What's the significance in the gap in membership from June to August for RIFC-does this not confirm that a new club was started ?

Paddy Malarkey

Agree4 Disagree1

To no 3 the sfa have already declared to the ECA (very quietly) that they consider them to be same team with history intact. Read this on Alex Thompsons web page about 2 weeks ago check it out in more detail.love gorgeous george by the way perfect timing.pat-c {Ed007's Note - The ECA have no authority Pat, they are just an extended version of the defunct G14 group. Think of it like when women get together to drunkenly sing along to Patsy Cline songs.}

Agree2 Disagree3

@5 The SFA may have declared to ECA but judging by their OWN rules they have already judged them to be a NEW team.......rules for scottish cup states that teams who played in SPL the previous season do NOT participate in the 3rd round........Rangers v Alloa !!

Agree4 Disagree1

Charles Green's Rangers is not the same football club that was a founding member of ECA.
Any SFA official who signed off a letter to ECA stating its the same football club is clearly corrupt and should be dismissed for gross negligence at least.

Agree6 Disagree1

To 5) surely that's pre empting Nimmo smiths tribunal?

Agree2 Disagree1

Nimmo smith has already gone public in the press to declare his impartiality, when accused by Green.
The SFA are the appeal organisation if Rangers do not accept Nimmo smith's SPL tribunal.
But the SFA have already said, wrongfully, that its the identical club! Corrupt or what?

Agree6 Disagree1

@6. bang on.

Agree3 Disagree1

Ed sorry if you misunderstood the point I was trying to make, it had nothing to do with the ECA and all to do with the fact that the SFA (CAMBELL OGILVIE AND HIS GANG) have, very quietly, lied on our behalf, in an attempt to preserve the history of a dead club. Now I would ask these same people to explain very loudly and very publically why they lied to eca and also to the scottish public.pat-c {Ed007's Note - I missed the irony lol, sorry.}
