So supposedly a fee has been agreed with man city and now it's just down 2 guidetti if he wants 2 sign. Any idea what kinda wages are on offer ed? surely we should be offering him top wages at least 25-30k a week
{Ed007's Note - I don't, sorry.}
And at the same time pay the food and programme sellers minimum wage.
We are certainly going to pay our players a lot more than programme sellers . I hope!
Lets hope the positive noises from JG himself are true and not just lip service to supporters.He has said himself he is young and, after his injury woes, winning trophies is more important than money.

Big Rab. Get with the program! The board have committed to the living wage. now leave it!!!!!
Gunniebhoy, don't you think he'd get out of his bed for 2.5 to 3 thousand pound a week a la big pierre, or do you think a homeless man would turn that down?.

Why have we agreed a fee for a player who is free to sign a pre-contract in January? Does it head off a potential bidding war? Would we not be better using that cash as signing on fee? Am I missing something?
Fair enough Davie, just trying to prove the point that we could be offering a player to earn in a week a good deal more than some of our support staff get in a whole year. A fair days pay for a fair days work is all people ask for.
I thought the board had agreed that all the permanent staff would get the living wage . The L.W. Plus the investor in People make Celtic the best football club employer in the U.k.
No big surprise, Celtic have a big game on Thursday and a newspaper, this time the Express says Guidetti going to make Celtic sweat over move.
No quote but just a wee story to try to unsettle Celtic fans.
