Celtic are ok when they have the ball upto about 30 metres from opposition goal and they are under no pressure

when they get to that part of the pitch, their flaws are very apparent - no incisive, pacy passing, sideways stuff, unwilling to take opposition players on, lack of cohesion between players

More and more this season teams seem content to sit in playing what looks like a 5-5 formation. I thought we handled it very well tonight and could of had more goals

Alot of that was due to good movement by the midfield and the full backs. Griffiths imo was brilliant tonight and warrants his starting place. I must admit I thought guidetti would of been starting but very well done LG

Against a poor team but when anyone sits infront of there goal like that it is never easy for any team to break down

{Ed007's Note - Griffiths had a great game tonight.}

We play very well but still BS MOANING! should have been 10 nil but still we are not doing this and that! 11 men behind the ball and we bossed the game! Usual rubbish never happy credit where it's due on an excellent performance

Agree3 Disagree0

Well done ed, know you're not his biggest fan but credit where its due

Griffiths can score all sorts of goals and I think that's what I like about him. Can take seconds to change a game and that lad is capable of it. Can he lead the line against a team like Inter or perhaps in the hoe behind Scepovic or Guidetti?

Ed do you think that Guidetti's status as sub not used for the second game running is an indication that he has informed the club he will not be signing a permanent contract? RD stated in December that a contract had been offered to Guidetti and the signs were looking good that he would sign! Well we are now edging towards the close of the transfer window and there is no sign of him signing and he has now failed to make it on to the park the last two matches! Although his form had dipped slightly I still expected he would come off the bench! My feeling is we won't be seeing Guidetti in a celtic shirt next season! What are your thoughts Ed?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I never expected anything to be sorted out in this window. Remember Guidetti hasn't played much football in the last two years.}

Well that was all very entertaining. Some excellent football, ball retention particularly good, woodwork pounded and Lustig diving to score one of the goals of the season. Maybe now it is a bit more obvious as to the way Ronny wants us to play, how many times did our full backs push in to the centre of their defence? This is the way to pick through packed defences. Biton tidied up everything loose that was in his area, Johansson chased everything down and our general movement was very good. Not getting carried away, it was only murderwell after all, but a great display none the less.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

That was a great performance, plenty of pace and total control of the game. I would have liked to see us test their keeper earlier in the game but very happy with the result. I thought Griffiths did really well and worked his socks off, hopefully he can get a run of games now

Agree1 Disagree0

Yep, was good GJ though it was motherwell. They are rotten, but can't take away a good performance. The feeling is someone is going to get a roasting off us sometime soon. I not so sure even though we now playing well we just not clinical enough yet in front of goal but hopefully that will come.I wonder if RD is bein clever with JG not playing him. We have a few big games comin up soon and since he not played much last 2 years maybe it wise to give him a break half way thro season and keep him fresh for the run in.

Another good performance and could have been a lot more goals. Thought Izzy was fantastic & good to see Lustig return and so close to scoring a remarkable hat-trick. Well done to RD & the team. Back where we belong. HH

Fantastic performance all round tonight.

Yet again we could have had double figures, soon enough someone will pay big time.

Noticed when Ed put the team up, someone clicked the unbelievable button - looking foolish now

Big well done to all at Celtic

I am a little bit surprised that we have not got new players in by now RD said he looked to bring in 2 or 3 new first team players and will be stronger by 1st FEB not blaming him for not having them in but again typical Celtic leave to the last before bringing in a Squad player or 2 if that

Are u honestly really surprised mate? I fully expected us to spend nothin in this window! As for rd sayin he wanted to bring 2 or 3 first team players,it's all words! Tellin fans what they think we want to here! Nobody's fooled anymore with it! The penny pinching at parkhead is a joke, and it won't get better anytime soon! Wasn't that long ago Lawell was sayin we could be in the market for a 6-8 million pound player! Utter garbage I'm afraid!

Agree4 Disagree0

Yeah, am not surprised one little bit.

Every passing year I gringe at what Celtic have become. For the life of it, get GMS in now. Pay the money for Armstrong ( we will get the money back in years to come or it will be money well spent if he sticks around )

Then these guys don't have to settle in, we should be preparing for Champions League qualifiers now

Ur rite kev! Seems like we can only spend money on foreign duds! To many to list! We'll wait til the summer to get gms and Armstrong will be off to England! There's just nuthin to get excited about when it comes to our signings anymore! But like we've said, nobody's shocked anymore! Nobody's fooled by it anymore, and the attendances at parkhead this season proves that! Nuthin to get the fans wanting to go to games!

Agree0 Disagree1

Once again dangy1888 a negative post regarding Celtic. To be honest if we were to sign Messi, Ronaldo, etc you would find something to complain about.Did it never occur to you regarding attendances, people just don't have the money to go to football every week, people on benefits, those that do work have not had wage increase for years, but bills have increased way beyond what people can afford, and not forgetting food banks.please inform me and many others exactly what it is you want from Celtic. The players you crave for will not come to Scotland due to the league we play in, and the cost and wages those players demand.Do you still think Rangers will score a barrowload of goals against us as you forecast a couple of weeks ago.killy.

If the up and coming cup game against the zombies is to be a full house, has anyone heard of any goings on regarding giving them some abuse for thier plight? Remeber beachball sunday and those good old days!

Let's do an Orphan Annie style sing along wearing red wigs "the sun will come out tomorrow".

Hopefully we can come up with something, just for a laugh!

Can see Guidetti doing a 'zombie walk' style celebration.

A good ol' fashion skelping on the park would be good enough for me.

Agree3 Disagree0

The 'passing the coffin' was almost as good as Beachball Sunday! I'm sure there will be something hilarious in the making!

I would imagine the Green Brigade have something planned
