Well looks like this policy of waiting to the last posslbe second that lawwell has continued with over the years is about to fail again, my understanding is that villa agreed to the upfront fee of 3.25m upfront +add ons, but when they thought about it being tied to CL qualifying changed their minds and wanted that changed, not the way to conduct business I agree but surely we should have left enough time to move to other targets if as appears we couldn't reach an amicable settlement, that said in this saga I tend to side with lawwell, not said that before in truth, but the deal Celtic have put forward is more than fair for a player who since leaving Swansea, has managed 9goals in 62 games, it's just a case now of who blinks first, still think it might get over the line, not to long to wait to see, finally would suggest that when new balance decide on a new top design, would be better to get someone not rubbered to do it, pretty in pink, my arsenal.

Can't see how it's lawwells fault.
He put a deal forward and it was accepted.
Villa then change their mind and pull the pug.

If to be believed that villa will do business at 3 mill and we've offered 2.75 why stall and haggle typical celtic every transfer seems to be a saga 3 mill would represent good business IMO another couple of hundred grand and you've got him, him on left and wee paddy on right would be amazing.

Mally rumours is celtic offered more than 3 up front then add ons that takes it over 4 million.

This is a player who has disappointed . frustrated . angered . annoyed. and very limitedley played up to his hype . most villa fans are desperate to be rid of him the rest want to keep him in the HOPE he can refind his championship form of 6 year ago . he is James forrest of England . has pace to burn but struggles one on one with defs rus into blind alleys delivery is poor. can score a goal but (apart from 6 year ago ) can't do it regular . isn't physical not the best defending for the team . yes he has raw talent which emerges very so often but he can't sustain it (apart from 6 year ago ) . are we buying a player or a hope that he can become a player . at 27 can he change for the betterment of himself and our team or will we be saying for the next few years if only the boy could find his form of 6 7 8 9 year ago.

I hope we buy Sinclair before or after the cut off point for this European tie, almost certainly if he bought at week- end or at the start of this week he wouldn't be playing this week and probably not next week .
Championship level of fitness wouldn't compare with the like of us . 😄😄😀.

Who do Villa think they are? Walk away and see who will meet their valuation for a player that promised much yet never delivered. Surely all the leagues and all countries we can't find a player of similar qualities? He's not that unique.

Unless I've missed something the player himself hasn't come out and requested the move to Celtic or expressed any positive statements so he may well be holding out for what he thinks will be a "better offer" from another club.

Move on to the next target. Don't waste anymore time on Sinclair.
