hi ed, do you know if there is any truth about us being back in for izzy's mate i think his name is jorge claros (or something similar) he was shot earlier this year in front of his family at a petrol station during an attempted robbery or is it more gutter rag bullsh** {Ed007's Note - I'd go for paper talk, but it could depend what happens with Brown.}

Ed-Have you heard anything about Bangura being sent out on loan in Jan?

Heard a whisper from a friend.

Should another striker come in Jan I can't see us needing 5 unless Sammy goes.

Richybhoy {Ed007's Note - I doubt Bangura will be fit enough to go out on loan in January.}

Believable9 Unbelievable7

He's not had enough playing time to get sent out

Agree0 Disagree0

Bangura is fit, fit enough to come on as a sub today... so he'll be fit enough to go out on loan come January. Whether he does or not is another question.

JD {Ed007's Note - There is still concerns over his knee and if surgery would be a better option in the long term after all.}

I can confirm 100% Newcastle United have never had any contact or interest in Scott Brown.
Any rumour was put out by the player and his agent to try and get Celtic to pay him more!

Believable16 Unbelievable16

Brown is more than happy with the deal the disagreement is agents fees

Agree0 Disagree0

And you are???

Agree0 Disagree0

I can confirm 100% Newcastle United have had contact and interest in Scott Brown. Any rumour to the contrary was put out by an idiot and his wishful thinking imagination to hide from the truth.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is untrue. The Brown to Newcastle rumour is 100% true and there is an offer waiting on him should Celtic decide to let him go

Neil Lennon has added a centre-back and a powerful striker to his January shopping list after completing a deal for Mikael Lustig.

Wots happened to Baba Diawara? He is banging in the goals in Portugal. Someone needs to ask him if they are still interested in him. Would be a great signing imo. {Ed007's Note - It was work permit/visa issues that stopped the transfer. CFC have first refusal on him in January, whether the problems are sorted I have no idea.}

Believable21 Unbelievable4

Don't think my nerves will settle until we sign a centre half ! A decent, commanding, experienced centre half - Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with the centre half but we desperatly need a big powerful centre forward as well. Can't go wae Hooper & Stokes all season, 1 is likely to get injured

Agree0 Disagree0

Bangura was the cheap option. both players needed a endorsement from the sfa to the home office to gain a work permit ,as the both players didnt meet the home office criteria . Celtic only requested 1 endorsement from the sfa and that was for the cheaper bangura. {Ed007's Note - CFC never asked for the endorsement for Diawara because of the work permit/visa problems.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats why you ask for a endorsement from the sfa to obtain a WORK PERMIT /VISA. {Ed007's Note - He didn't meet the criteria so applying for the work permit would have been pointless. The SFA endorsement isn't the only thing needed to get a work permit.}

Agree0 Disagree0

What was the criteria he never met? {Ed007's Note - He hadn't played in 75% of competitive international matches in the last two years for a nation ranked in the top 70 by FIFA.}

Agree0 Disagree0
