hi ed havint posted in ages mate but still read regular!Was just wondering if there would be any chance of signin xherdan shaqiri from basel. Looks a class act, I mite be dreaming but how much would basel be lookin for?

Celticthomas {Ed007's Note - Shaqiri is joining Bayern Munich for next season Thomas. The fee was undisclosed but it was between 10-15 million Euros.}

Believable1 Unbelievable7

Cheers ed I wasnt aware of that, looks like I was dreamin lol, class wee player, always destined for a big club. Keep up the good work mate!

Celticthomas {Ed007's Note - Thanks mate. He is a fantastic player, definitely one to watch out for in the next few years. All the 'big' clubs were watching him but his CL performances this season made Bayern get in quick to sign him.}

Ed do u think Celtic should go for Royston Drenthe of Real Madrid as his contract runs out soon.Conor67 {Ed007's Note - He is a good player Conor but it is his off the field lifestyle that has seen his career stall. He couldn't even behave himself at Everton and had numerous run ins with Davie Moyes, they even looked into sacking him.}

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Love this guy on the park though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember Maceo Rigters?Think they both played in that great Holland U19 team a few years ago.Think Van Persie was in the team also.I remember we wanted him but he ended up at Blackburn,dunno where he is now.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stay well clear hes a distraction to the team

Agree0 Disagree0

He caused problems on loan in Spain too ( Espanyol I think) undoubtedly talented but an unsettling influence and a bit of a t1t , keep well away from him IMO

Agree0 Disagree0

This boy is only 25. He likes to be the centre of attention (as do the ladies in his life). he appears to be very immature and a prima donna. If the coaching staff were of a mind to invite someone with the equivalent emotional maturity of an 11 year old boy into the dressing room with the resulting disruption it would cause, then I think they (the coaching staff) would be looking for a new job pretty soon. A very good player but not what we want in a Celtic man by any stretch of the imagination. Realistically if he was a model pro ( instead of dating model pros) he would be worth a fortune. I can imagine DM reaction to this guy when he was up to his antics. I would have paid good money to watch the drama! Sopot Celt

He plays for gold coast united in the a-leauge jungle bhoy

Think itl be the end for them after this programme goes out. police should then make arrests. also uefa should boot them out once and for all

Agree0 Disagree0

If there is any truth in this and if it can be proven the authorities can start warming a billet at HMP for certain members of that failed and failing institution. Absolutely shocking report but I will keep my powder dry until we know more. This sort of thing goes to the heart of our freedoms and all which we should hold dear Sopot Celt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely if the bbc have information concerning a crime being commited then surely they have a legal and moral obligation to disclose it to the police immediately?

Agree0 Disagree0

One lot of bull. Just Celtic fans making up utter nonsense......as usual.

TTG

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt this story has any substance. The basis for tapping would be to outbid Celtic for players. Two things though. Would you really need to tap someones phone to outbid them. Agents etc play clubs off against each other all the time so the information on bid would be available to Murray. Seocndly, he is a risk taker but even he would unlikley take that big a risk even if there was a slither of benefit in it. He was in full splash the cash mode back then and would surely have just spent a bit extra. IMO Celtic wont feature in this documentary - it will more than likely not shed a whole lot of extra info than we already know

sorry ed was snowed under at work.
i asked how you would review the season now the dust has settled , at the beginning of it i would have snapped your hand off for a title win but ended up disappointed not to win the double or treble . the killie loss was not as bad as the hearts one which was very bad , both results imo were down to bad luck and bad tactics on neils part . in europe after a bad start i thought we played very well against some very good teams . overall i think neil still has alot to prove and would only give him 6.5 out of 10 for this season ,fab1 {Ed007's Note - I did answer you mate??? We won't mention that you have added a wee 0.5 point to your assessment :-)

Hi, Would just like to congratulate James McFadden on enjoying his time in the reserves at Everton pity it's now come to end glad you made the right choice just like Sol Campbell, Jimmy Bullard and David James! Where are you all now? Haha Hail Hail to you all!

Agree0 Disagree0

I never wanted any of these players anyway.Would have cost too much money for too little reward.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

James campbell and bullard were well past it when celtic were interested. Most celtic fans said that at the time

Agree0 Disagree0

Sitting back laughing all the way to the bank

Agree0 Disagree0

David James conceded the most goals in the league that season, Campbell played twice for newcastle, Bullard got chased to ipswich and had to take his medicine(and a wave cut) and James McFadden signed a pay as you play deal at Everton so he won't have been laughing his way to the bank unless it was to count his previous earnings. You can add bothroyd to that list......another clown. And I can honestly say I'm delighted that we didn't sign any one of them. Finished all of them

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely the point here should be why were celtic trying to sign players, whos wages eoukd be big, when they are clearly finished?

Agree0 Disagree0

They've all picked up better wages than they wud have at Celtic I would imagine. Dont think they'll lose much sleep over it.

Hi Ed,
I posted a few days ago about the keeper situation and my thoughts on cudicini as a pos replacement for big fraser, now I'd like the big man to stay but there's stalling tactics at play by the agent so he obviously thinks he's got an ace up his sleeve, and that's fine but perhaps we should be publicly looking for other options, now I know u say you expect gordon to be number 2 choice... But let's look at the facts, the mans had some bad injuries over the last 5 yrs, the worst in my opinion being broken wrists, now whilst I'm no doctor I can't for 1 minute believe you could ever have as strong a wrist again after a break (maybe I'm wrong?) So I think we should be looking elsewhere, now a few names.. Fabianski (perhaps a little short but good experience for 1 so young), Sorrenson, pletikosa (albeit probs won't wanna come back after last years debacle)and maybe even 1 last go at given (although I doubt we could make him a good enough offer). With regards other targets for outfield positions, defence ; I think we'll sign loovens back up and cha will go to germany, possibly mills will sign up. Midfield; in all honesty unless we lose a mainstay we won't sign anyone unless henriksen deal is goer, attackers; I've gt no inkling of where NL is going on that 1, commanding forward who does something our current strikeforce don't (bully defenders)
what do you think Ed?

SPL chief executive Neil Doncaster has told Rangers not to expect special treatment if they apply for re-entry to the top-flight.

Prospective new owner Charles Green is still keen for the club to exit administration via a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) but may be forced to go down a newco route.

Green met with Doncaster and Scottish Football Association counterpart Stewart Regan on Thursday and could be set for disappointment when it comes to the Gers SPL status.

Doncaster told reporters: "We will continue to deal with clubs equally under the rules.

"Our job is to apply those rules, without fear or favour to every single one of the 12 member clubs. That's what we will do.

"It's our job to explain that what we are doing is treating people equally. If everyone understands that, then what will be the reason to be aggrieved about the outcome?

"Every club will be treated exactly the same. I can't get into 'special cases'.

"Our job is to apply the rules fairly and evenly to every SPL club."

Even Rangers boss Ally McCoist has accepted that dropping down to the fourth tier may be morally right but fears such a scenario would be to the detriment of Scottish football.

But there could be further difficulties ahead at Ibrox with the SPL also investigating the use of 'double contracts' at the club.

And Doncaster is not expecting a quick resolution.

He added: "It will take some time and, ultimately, it's being done by our lawyers.

"How long will it take? How long has the HMRC case taken?

"These things take as long as they take."

Jungle Bhoy.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Agreed jj, one thing that a mate mentioned to me was that when Motherwell went bust they only got the ten point fine, I realise that the shame have committed loads more trouble n broke more rules than well ever did. Is this correct info ed? Or any other bhoys in the know?
ZCB

Agree0 Disagree0

It's only if the dirty ones go the newco route that they have to join the league from the lowest teir, and (although I may be wrong) Motherwell didn't pheonix, they still exist as the same entity. is that right ed? {Ed007's Note - Motherwell didn't go into liquidation or go bust. It is pointless trying to compare the two situations, they are totally different. Motherwell FC owed Boyle a lot of money, a debt he waived allowing the club to move forward. Rangers owe a lot more than money to it's owner.}

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has admitted that threats against his safety led him to think about giving it all up.

The former Northern Ireland international revealed the extent of his recent difficulties in an interview with Real Radio phone-in host Peter Martin, to be aired on Monday evening.

Lennon was the focus of a high-profile court case earlier this year, which saw two men, Trevor Muirhead and Neil McKenzie, jailed for five years for conspiring to assault him.

The men targeted Lennon by sending parcel bombs to Celtic Park and the club's training ground.

During the trial Lennon told the court he was left "very disturbed" by the incident.

The period was a particularly traumatic one for the Celtic boss as his friend, fellow target Paul McBride QC, died just days before he was due to give evidence at the trial.

Lennon was a pall bearer at McBride's funeral in Glasgow and admits the stress of events led him to wonder whether it was all worth it.

He said: "I had a real difficult time when Paul McBride passed away.

"And there was a spell where, on the Monday it was Paul's funeral and then on the Tuesday I had to go and give evidence in the court case and that was a real tough, tough spell.

"At times you think: is it worth it? You know, all these things that happen to you."

Asked if he had considered quitting, Lennon replied: "Yeah. I mean at the end of the day, your personal safety is in jeopardy or you feel it's in jeopardy.

"I was always well briefed by the police and the intelligence officers, so that gave me a lot of comfort through those times but you're just thinking: is it worth living here?

"You know, I love Glasgow. I love the environment. It's been my home for a long, long time.

"But there is an element to it that lets the city down, you know, lets the country down and the sooner we can eradicate that - but it's got to come from the home.

"It's got to come from the families and it's all right pointing the finger at schools and this, that and the other, (but) you know as parents we have a responsibility to bring your kids up in the right way."

Jungle Bhoy.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Totally agree , everyone should be able to go about their jobs without being threatened / chased off a football park as well as their integrity being called into question every time results don't go a certain way. {Ed007's Note - I know mate. That carry-on at Tynecastle last year was a shambles, hopefully next year NL will be able to concentrate on the footballing side of things.}

Ed Whats this with the Ticketus deal being terminated by duff and duffer? Can they legally do that?

On another note if any Bhoys still want to go to the Norwich game you can buy tickets on the night from the Jarrold stand ticket office at Carrow road after 6pm. The CFC ticket office have sent the unsold tickets back I went down to the ticket office this morning as I drive past it on my way to work to find out for some bhoys travelling down to see me but thought I would post on here for info.

Hope to see many bhoys in the good bars of Norwich on Tuesday.

Hail hail

CeltStu {Ed007's Note - Ticketus are still owed the money as a creditor. Basically the administrators are defaulting on paying it.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Well Ed007....that is the Rangers way. lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed: does that not mean then that, and here is a bit of past experience, if say you were in one of those debt payment plan you see advertised on tv to slash your debt, bankrupsy without the offially being sequestrated, I know that if a payment within that plan is missed then the debt management company are within their rights to go to court to force your sequestration, would that not be the same in this case, where the debtor refuses to pay allowing the creditor to take legal action to order a sequestration in place? what's your thoughts? {Ed007's Note - I wouldn't imagine a sequestration would be possible, I don't know anything about debt payment plans etc, sorry.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a busness move that was to be expected when they launched a Court action against Mr Whyte, which means Ticketus becomes a major creditor and have to agree the CVA. Now they are looking for a return on the "lost 28million" at best in 10p in the pound which is a return of 2.8 million. Now ask yourself this if you have just been stuck for 25.4 million, would you agree when Murray Park is available?

Agree0 Disagree0

Your right ed my mistake...once they go through the CVA(HUGE IF) and then miss apayment they can be liable to be forced into liquidation. but then again it is all if's and but's bottom line is they are screwed, it is just a matter of when?

Agree0 Disagree0

Just shows how little you all know. ticketus are not a major creditor as whyte put personal guarantee up for 24 or 26 million on ticketus money and if you hadn't noticed there is a police investigation going on involving ticketus / whyte concerning alleged fraud ie false documents being made up with rfc logo's to procure ticketus cash. i would find it very unlikely rfc will have to pay a bean to ticketus until this very messy whyte affair has been cleared up. {Ed007's Note - Ticketus will get their money, they themselves have said that they were already being treated as a creditor in a CVA before the termination of the contract, which was only a formality anyway. If a CVA isn't granted then Green's purchase of Whyte's shares is cancelled and it's back to square one. You are right, it is already very messy, wait for the 'money shot' though and you will need to call in industrial cleaners to get the stains out!}

Well Charles Green doesn't half talk some p1sh. This is a quote by Green that I've taked from the official Rangers website:

"I can assure fans that it is very easy to raise money, even in this financial market we are in, for an institution like Rangers."

Surprising it took David Murray so long to sell the club, when Green can pull together such untold wealth in a matter of weeks.

Rangers supporters - be wary, very, very wary.

Got to be a must signing, just what we need to play along side hooper.

Conroy777

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love to see him up here. I would think that he already know's where he is going though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Grant Holt knows he only has one chance left at the big time. Celtic would be a great choice for him as (in my opinion) he will not get into the starting line up of any of the top six EPL teams. Most likely a team like Aston Villa will sign him and he can enjoy coming 9th every single season. Besides, I have no illusions of grandeur about celtic, but surely we could get someone like Holt?!?! Back in old money, he would be considered decent at best.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2012 16:43:30
Grant Holt has put in a transfer request at Norwich. Great physical striker, which wouldn't go a miss at Celtic. I can see him more going to a mid-table team, like Fulham/Sunderland, but if you don't ask, you don't get. MIGHT be tempted by CL football.

hi guys, just gonna post a few opinions on possible ins and outs at the club. I dont have any dodgy rumours.

1st'ly, glad to see the back of mcginn, never rated him even when he was getting a game under mowbray. Wilson, Big Danny, loovens, cha, cervi all leaving will free up wages which is good. also wanna see the back of juarez, rasmussen, odea, murphy we dont need these guys at all. I think the one big player to leave will be Ki, and to be honest hes one we can afford to lose Id say as we're well covered. I think its pretty clear Fraser Forster aint signing, Ive been saying it for a while now, too much stalling and hedging his bets for a club in england. Well thats not the Celtic way son, so bye bye. I see Craig Gordon being the one to replace him, good signing if he stays fit. Just a few opinions lads, let me know what you think!

Believable10 Unbelievable5

Never rated McGinn??
FAR more productive than McCourt
McGinn (aged 24) .... 35 games 6 goals
McCourt (aged 28).... 58 games 9 goals

He has age, speed and even the stats are on his side. He would be adequate cover for Forrest. When James was injured games we played went flat as we didn't have a speedy wide man that we were so used to playing with.
O'Dea IMO hasn't done much wrong at the club, just never given the amount of games like Loovens, Danny did. Wilson's in his first season, it takes time to settl to a new club. As for Craig Gordon?? are you serious...... that is a joke yeah.... he was good a few years back but has NEVER lived up to the hype that took him down south. That guys gets injured when the rain water is a little heavier than normal, too much risk.
I tend to agree with most of the others but trimming the squad can work against us sometimes.... I would be happy to see 6 or 7 of them go. Murphy, Cha, Danny, Loovens, Cervi, Rasmussen, Juarez (I am not too sure about that though!), McCourt and maybe one "big" player. I have a feeling it will be either Kayal (Newcastle/Sunderland) or Ki (Newcastle/Villa/Everton).
What we need is consistancy, chopping and changing brings its own hassles.... you just have to look at the beining of THIS season to see that, he players took a wee bit longer than expected to get out of 2nd gear!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hard to disagree with any of that. Getting rid of the fringe players should free up some money to bring in quality first teamers. I'm sorry Ki didn't quite work out - I think we will see him in a few years time and wonder how he got away.

Ed is Fojut not signing now because he is injured or is he just going to be out for a while after signing? First I heard of this.

Tam the Tim {Ed007's Note - The deal has been cancelled Tam. The injury is worse than first expected and after the CFC medical team checked him out the deal was called off. There are clauses included in pre-contracts that allow this.}

I see Ivan Klasnic has left Bolton, think he could fill that target man role for us. Not the greatest scoring record at Bolton but has international experience and may find it easier in the SPL.
Also wanted to say to all the eds, I love the no nonsense approach you have to stupidity and idiotic posts. Too many sites pussy around people that spout bile and nonsense but they are always firmly put in their place here and it is a pleasure visiting the site. Ive been a long time visiter but very rarely post my thoughts but i am looking forward to sharing my views with all the other Celtic fans here. Guys like Jungle Bhoy, Timalloy, Wee Pat and many more make it worthwhile having a look every day so guys I look forward to sharing my views and having some banter with you all.

Scotty Bhoy {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site Scotty.}

Scotty Bhoy, welcome aboard we all like a bit of banter, and you can now be Wee Pat's official interpreter ha ha, join in the banter and give us your views and jokes (not too good but ha ha) one little point don't ask Evinguu his opinion or we will all be here until next week LOL Timalloy

I will bear that in mind Timalloy. Wee pat certainly has a way with words, I often have to get my granda to translate it for me though as he is Glaswegian and is familiar with the lingo...lol! Scotty Bhoy

Klasnic -NO.
Easier in spl? We've enough quality for that, it's a better player we want n need for Europe. Whether that be cl or Europa

Have Cha, Loovens and McGinn now left Celtic?

I have heard that they are away but havent been able to confirm!

I am obviously aware of big dan and Mark Wilson moving on!

Any info Ed? {Ed007's Note - McGinn has left the club. Loovens has technically left but there is talk he could be offered a 6 month (1 year??) contract after the Fojut deal collapsed but Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday are interested in him. Cha is in the same boat as Loovens, he is free to talk to other clubs, if he finds a club he will leave.}

Believable4 Unbelievable1

That's a shame. Always liked Mcginn. And when he's played for his country he looked like he could play the wing back role in a 3-5-2 well. Aw well, good luck to the Bhoy anyway.... MrCheshington

Agree0 Disagree0

Loovens has actually impressed me in the cb sweeper type role he is playing, wouldnt mind keeping him tbh

Danjam

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with Danjam on Loovens i'd like to see him here for another season. And i am happy about cha being able to leave, he has cost us a few games before including the Europa league.

Silly season starting again, lots of names being thrown around but I think the priority is trimming the squad down before adding more quality to it. Got a feeling Forster is holding out for an EPL team, Boruc or Gordon would be great acquisitions for us but what one would my fellow buoys pick if you could choose? This Norwegian lad Henriksen from Rosenberg looks good, box to box midfielder and decent scoring record from the middle of the park but do we need another midfielder? Brown, Ledley, Wanyama, Kayal, Ki, Commons, Forrest and Samaras all played in that midfield during the last season and there is real quality in there. Rumours of bids for Ki gathering pace and can only imagine Henriksen coming in should we lose one. The main priority for me is a striker and commanding centre back, one of of work mates is a massive reading fan and reckons Matt Mills would stroll through the SPL but in my opinion we need somebody older and experienced to bring out the best in our younger CB's. A name I have heard a few times is Matthew Upson, don't know where he is playing just now or what is fitness is like (perhaps you could help there ed?). Up top we are still crying out for something extra, I would love to see Jordan rhodes in the hoops but can't see us getting involved in a bidding war and i think it is a target man we need. Somebody that can bully the opposition and put his head on the ball, if only big bad John was in his prime! Marko Janko is would be ideal but costly. Jay Bothroyd got very little playing time at QPR, a load deal may suit both sides and he has the presence. What are all your thoughts for possible signings this summer?

Scotty Bhoy

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Scotty Bhoy I agree with you about Henriksen, from all accounts a decent midfielder, and yes Forster looks like he wants EPL so bring in Gordon, as he is a free we save the £2m we would have used on Forster. I think Ki will go if we get a decent offer, he wants European football in spain, looks like about 7 or 8 players will leave, freeing their wages also.Bothroyd I am not so sure about, what about Rodalega again a free so no transfer fee, and all we then need is a big solid centre half.. Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Also agree mate apart from Bothroyd, he had his chance to come and turned us down for the money and a season on the bench at relegation fighting QPR. Clown. I like the Rodallega chat. He would be brilliant at the celts, im sure of it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rodallega would do a great job for us thus for sure, what kind of price could we expect to pay for that kind of player though? Scotty Bhoy {Ed007's Note - He is available on a free transfer Scotty.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thinks lots of people forget, jordan rhodes is about 6ft 1

Agree0 Disagree0

Rodallega would be a very good signing but there'd be no shortage of competition for his signature. the only concern i'd have is that we now play very similar football to wigan, same shape etc, and he struggled to adapt to it. i'm sure he'd score goals for fun in the spl though. hendriksen would be a first class signing in my opinion, haven't seen a lot of him apart from the usual youtubes but he seems much more what we need as opposed to say ki. a fit matthew upson this time 3 years ago would have been superb but he's far too injury prone - we need a settled defence and somebody who'll be a virtual ever present like mulgrew has been. i think matt mills would be a step in the right direction but he hasn't played for months and we've seen what sort of effect that can have on a player with kelvin wilson. i live on teesside and go to watch boro games now and then as well, rhys williams is head and shoulders above the rest of the team and would also do a decent job in defence for us i reckon, he missed the run in for boro with injury but he's been one of the stand out championship defenders/midfielders in what's basically been a poor team for the last 2 seasons. would be great to get somebody with european experience though, have seen talk of carragher but honestly he's been utterly brutal for a couple of years now and has absolutely no pace.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't mind Carragher,give us the experience at the back for Europe.It would allow the younger defenders to learn from him also.

hey ed howz it going? just wanted to get your thoughts on the supposed yakubu and owen rumours. I personally can"t see the yak being short of offers after a 17 league goal season playing for a team that finished 2nd bottom of the epl. Owen could be a shout though. It's a risk no doubt, but if he were to hit the ground running could be a shrewd bit of business.

Sydney Celt {Ed007's Note - Owen should retire to concentrate on his horses IMO and Yakubu will have offers from the EPL and abroad as well.}

I think we should make a bid for Jordan Rhodes. He's been on Celtic's radar for a while and is on the verge of a move to Fulham however it would be good business to sign him for Celtic as the asking price is around £3.5 million which is a steal for someone with his strike rate.

Jordan Rhodes would be a much, much better option than Leon Best. Compare their strike rates...

JORDAN RHODES:
71 goals in 122 games = 58% strike rate (excellent).

LEON BEST:
52 goals in 219 games = 24% strike rate (poor).

Anything over 50% is incredible and very, very rare !

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Jordan Rhodes is playing in League 1 though

I can't understand wtf this mr green is up too? Plus the fact he's not bought Rankers at all yet?
Cc67

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Maybe being paranoid conspiracy theorist here but hey I'm a Tim...

I'm honestly starting to think Green is just a smokescreen employed by Craigy Boy and Duff and Phelps to take all the hysteria away from Rangers not having a concrete buyer worth their weight in gold and therefore extend the amount of time they have to find one while everyone thinks it's a done deal. I also think he was brought in to lend some credence and perhaps gain sympathy to/from the SPL/SFA appeal they had on Wednesday.

Wouldn't surprise me one iota if this guy (and his "mystery consortium" who I'm not sure even exist) walked in the not-too-distant-future to be replaced by yet another "buyer".

Agree0 Disagree0

He wants to liquidate the team, set up a newco and sell it on in a few years for a tidy profit

Celtic looking at out of favour Wigan forward Hugo Rodallega in a £2.5 million swoop. This money will be taken straight from that received from a £6 million transfer that will see Ki-Sung-Yeung going to either Liverpool or Newcastle.

Celtic also preparing a bid for Marcus Henrikson of Rosenborg in the region of £3 million.

Talk around Parkhead officials is that Artur Boruc could be returning to Celtic in a £2 million deal.

Also, Yakubu and Michael Owen could be joining on free transfers.

Believable5 Unbelievable13

Rodallega and Boruc are both free transfers why pay money

Agree0 Disagree0

Stupid rumour.
I thought Rodallega is on a bosman ? Plus he would want 25k per week's easily.
Yakubu and Owen would be on similar to that.
Boruc isn't likely to come back for less than 20k per week and the kid Henriksen will be on at least 10k per week. That in addition to Gary Hooper wanting 25k per week. That's an extra 6m or so in wages per year and leaves us with 8 strikers in the first team, not including Rassmussen and co. Plus why would Liverpool be signing Ki when they don't even have a manager yet. Nonsense.

Agree0 Disagree0

Henrikson and Boruc is the only 2 names i'd take there,maybe Yakubu at a push.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd be ok with most of that. Wouldn't take Owen purely because of his ages and we badly need to spend on a cb. I think matt mills would be a good buy.
Nickybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Rodellega and Boruc are out of contract ,
Owen will not be coming , he's never fit and not sure about Yakubu , like the look of Henriksen though .

Agree0 Disagree0

Now let's see, which part of the post is P*sh....that's right...ALL OF IT!! Especially Michael Owen, stop the glue-sniffing FFS...

Iain

Agree0 Disagree0

We will be after a bit more than £6m for KI.....Lenny valued him at £10m last season and i don't see us moving far from that valuation £8-£10m for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like somebody likes there football manager a bit to much

Agree0 Disagree0

Is boruc and roda not free transfers ed? also owen? no way mate wil we see him. sure we might aswel sell all our strikers get yakubu, rodalegga, owen and sure put an offer for drogba. yakubu the one i want anyway outa all that. quality striker who wil score loads if the attitude is right. think he wil discover the form which made him fans favourite at pompey.

mon the hoops, feed the yak {Ed007's Note - Boruc has a year left on his Fiorentina contract. Rodallega is out of contract though.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Interesting post, I hear the MO rumour may have legs...lets hope his have not gone! Its been obvious for weeks that there are going to be many departures so there will be a big release or freeing up of these previous salaries. A bit harsh to label the post stupid...perhaps amusing, but then perhaps there is some truth here and some merit. I hope at least one of the names mentioned comes to be realised. Sopot Celt

Agree0 Disagree0

Leon Best, Matt Mills, Markus Henriksen and Paul Dixon would do me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rodellega goals at wigan per year 3,10,13 ,2 , ,,,,,,deep river bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see us paying yak or Owen wages , wouldn't want Owen anyways , the rest of the post makes sense although I think the holy goalie would want more wages

Agree0 Disagree0

Did this rumour come straight from the looney farm? I think the ed's got enough crackpots to deal with!! Really ed how do you do this job putting up with idiots like this?
