Is Ciftci away on loan or has he been punted? Also Kasim-Richards? Why not go the whole hog and re-sign Paul Telfer and Reggae Blinker?

Kasim-Richards is actually a quality player and if he screws the nut we have just landed ourselves a bargain. The question is, will he screw the nut.

RabMac. Unfortunately I think there are many on here who hope he doesn't screw the nut and makes a show of club . Hopefully we get a few good years out of him.

99.9% of us want EVERY player to succeed but we are smart enough to know it won't happen with this guy. 29 years old, poor scoring record, troublemaker, the list goes on why this is a terrible signing.
Do I want him to prove me wrong? Of course I do and you can be the first to throw it in my face when he scores the goal that gets us to the Champions league group stage in August.

No one is arguing about the 'quality 'player bit, its the 'quality' person bit, but the bit I'd like to know about are, how much are is wages?

There are plenty of us who hope he does not embarrass the club or generate bad publicity, as we have enough problems at present without any more distractions or disruption.
His disciplinary record and number of clubs does suggest we are taking a huge risk and our recent transfer activity involving strikers has been questionable at best.
Griffiths needs support but Commons is out of favour, Ciftci, Scepovic and Stokes all shunted, Nesbit loaned and then there's Carlton Cole in - out - shake it all about.

Are his qualities scoring goals rabmac . old bhoy apart from fenerbach e who loaned him out he hasn't lasted more than a year at any club do you think at his age he will change his ways . and I'm not talking just attitude disciple but scoring goals . broke over 10 once in career . his average is 4.4 goals per season.

Agree with you Deep River. Why are we buying players with zero pedigree. If he was a goal scorer I can understand why we would take a punt but I can't see for the life of me why we signed him.
