Anyone know if there is anything the roumer of Steven fletcher on the way to celtic . A photo is going around Facebook of him at glasgow airport but don't know if there is anything in it.

Photo taken last night, if he were undergoing a medical it would have leaked by now surely?
Got a property in the west end and been seen out n about there today so not @ CP or Ross Hall.

I wouldn't mind if he signed tbh as long as it was on a bosman/ pre contract because he would be a 20 goal a season man if he could stay fit.

Im undecided on this 1 I think he's better than Cole and ciftci but would we change our formation because we need Griffiths as our main striker Fletcher wouldn't score as meny he's more the link up man imo what wages is he likely to want.

Fletcher can actually play behind striker as well. I remember him at Hibs when he would play on the left sometimes and was excellent at linking up play.
I would take him if we could get him on the cheap as he won't have much sell on value. Saying that he really needs to stay fit but I reckon Ronnie is the man to manage his injuries well, as he has proven with Forrest and Rogic.

I don't understand if he's cheap take him logic. He is playing in a squad of expensive players. Does a job. I've not heard a full blooded "Get him signed" from anyone. Why be caucious about a player we know inside out? The bit better than what we have attitude won't improve the team. You need a new player to do more than that.

He's way better than Ciftci and Cole but the problem is we likely won't spend the money on a younger striker with more pedigree than Fletcher. So in terms of a back up to Griffiths, or alongside him I'd say he'd be a good signing who would without doubt improve the team.
