Reading that Club Brugge have sacked their manager Nicky Hayen.
He was name checked on the forum by one of the bhoys a few months back as someone who could potentially do a good job at Celtic, replacing BR.
I do hope, given the timing, that this isn't one of those 'sliding doors' moments when we could end up looking back at who we could've signed.
It's early days but time will tell.

{Ed007's Note - I said at the time, like Knutsen, I wasn't sure how much their clubs successes was down to them as individuals, could/would they succeed where they weren't just a cog in a machine. Brugge won't be ripping up their recruitment plans or youth development or ely on the new manager in the transfer market, they'll keep doing what Brugge do. It's like an Ajax situation, even Barca to an extent, coaches/managers come & go but the clubs don't fall apart at the seams when they do.
I'd much rather Celtic brought in the people above Knutsen or Hayen to lay the foundations.}

It's a good point Ed and I'm aware you've made it before.
It could well be that our latest managerial appointment slots in well to the shambles that is Celtic behind the scenes in all things player/ first team related.
Alternatively, he may well demonstrate he can operate successfully despite the board. ?
In terms of Brugge, they have put together a very good first team squad, what I'd give to have a handful of them at Celtic. ?

{Ed007's Note - It'll come down to whether Tisdale understands Nancy's systems and can provide the players to play it. I don't hold much hope out for either to happen.}

No, unfortunately neither do I. ?

{Ed007's Note - Same problems we've had for 20+ years but we can't talk about them while we win trophies in Scotland...
