The fact the board through this guy in at the deep end with 3 huge games shows how out of their depth they are. A blind man and his dog could see its best to let oniell carry on til we are out of dangerous water. I don't blame the manager at all.
Not his fault although the players need to take some responsibility too.
If he wanted a bit of time to assess the squad i think he should have seen enough after today to know these players are not good enough.
Huge game against Roma midweek.

I agree the board are to blame for a lot of things, including maybe choice of manager and timing. Feel sorry for the players being thrown in at the deep end, but as professionals their passing should have been better, whatever system they're playing in.
But I don't thing you can absolve the manager of any responsibility. Some say "What kind of manager would he be if he didn't stick to his principles? " Or "He's got to be his own man" but I totally disagree with that. In my opinion it's a very weak man who doesn't ask for or accept help.

If he brings out the wee tactic board again he should be sacked for bring the Club into disrepute - surely he can communicate without that wee toy?
