Think like most o worry about our midfield 3 just not been on it the last 2 games callum looks like he's getting his rhythm again but nygren and hatate nowhere near it, it won't happen but bernardo or mccowan or engles should be given a shout.

It will be mc Gregor and Hatate plus 9 others tonight, these 2 seem to be permanent fixtures when Celtic are playing, Bernardo and Engels played some minutes against Partick Thistle, but for how long will Bernardo and Engels accept there Limited playing time they get to play, Mc Gregor and Hatate have not deserved to be 1st picks so far this season.

Hatate is up there on the list players who are totally inconsistent and don't contribute most weeks . on a good day brilliant but few and far between.

With our midfield were not physical enough for Europe a really fear the worse tonight if we stick to usual 4:3:3.Atalanta awy last yr was our best performance in a long time away, same tonight bhoys?.

Brendan Rodgers is very stubborn and I think he will stick with Hatate, McGregor and Nygren as his own preferred three in most of our bigger games - providing they're fit - no matter how ineffective they are and it will cost us. I know the squad is weaker than ever, but he doesn't seem to rate Bernardo or McCowan to start many games and Engels has apparently fallen down the pecking order as well.

It's a good point on Bernardo and Engels.
CalMac is on the way down and Hatate wants away - both their respective form is deteriorating season after season.
Bigger picture, he's got two young and, IMO for what it's worth, talented midfielders, warming the bench.
Both Bernardo and Engels need more minutes and the opportunity to make a contribution.
If not, when BR leaves at the end of the season, they may well also want away as well.
Next season; new manager, and I hope, a new captain with CalMac playing far less minutes, Hatate will be punted in the summer.
