Spot on Bhoy - the reaction of some of our fans (a very noisy minority) over the last 10 days has been embarrassing beyond belief. The majority of fan media and their letters and statements is cringeworthy, I used to enjoy and respect a lot of them but can't bring myself to listen to them at the moment.
All this because Maeda skied it with 5mins to go, madness. We are (quite rightly) a laughing stock at the moment because of their reaction, make no mistake about it.

Gerry I could understand if we were in financial trouble and finishing 3rd/ 4th and winning nothing, but currently there is no justification whatsoever in calling for the board to be removed. It's just a minority of fans that are dreaming up fairytales of hoarding cash to increase bonus payouts or the manager not being backed and trying to encourage boycotts of merchandise, tickets and this one was my favourite the boycotting of watching matches on tv??? it's all just pure fantasy.
If people take a deep breath and a step back they'll see the reality is we are in a sound position financially and in the midst of our most successful period in our history.
We have broken our tansfer record and shattered our wage structure in the last 2 seasons. We have signed 10 players this window but because no one has heard of some of the players or we haven't spent in the £10-£15m bracket for players some fans think the manager hasn't been backed.
We failed to score a single goal against one of the lowest ranked teams in CL qualifiers ever over 2 legs, not because of the board, but because of our manager and his tactics!
We failed to create any chances of any note and put in one of the worst performances I've ever seen from any Celtic team against argubly one of the worst teams to play out of Ibrox, not because of the board, but because of our manager and his tactics!
Don't get me wrong I think the board could do a better job by getting a DOF on place that oversees a playing style implemented from the youngest age group right through to the first team, a recruitment strategy where players are identified at the earliest opportunity that suits our model, advocates and puts emphasis on a pathway for players to be developed from the youngest age group into the first team and ensuring all managers recruited buy into our model.
{Ed007's Note - I think you will find it is a lot more than a minority calling for the Club to be run properly with competent people in place - some of us have been saying it for years. It would be silly to ignore these people.}

There's negativity Mally because we're playing the worst football anyone has ever seen and because of this we got embarrassed and papped out by one of the worst teams to ever compete in the CL qualifiers!
Ok I'll use your figures, 98% of people are blaming the board for this. The 2% of sensible people can see that this is our elite manager's fault. Our elite manager has also tried to deflect the blame towards the board which 98% of the gullible fanbase has bought!

Plus I'd only be saying what I've already said on here so as you can tell by some of the reactions and replies from fellow posters it would probably be pointless lol.

My reactions are not negative to others points of view. Anything I have posted is my actual opinion and I believe I have raised many points to support my opinions. I'm of the view that most on here slating the board haven't raised genuine arguements for slating the board?.
