I was a little anxious about the title when the transfer window closed because our squad has regressed.

With Celtic having a 6 point lead over Sevco I was thinking it was massive to see who would blink next especially if it was Sevco.
Getting that goal at the end on Sunday was huge even this early in the season.

With Celtic now being 9 points ahead of Sevco with 3 Glasgow Derby games left they find themselves in the last chance saloon already.
If they start needing favours from the other clubs, that means the writing is already on the wall.

It's been a strange season thus far and there could still be a few twists and turns with Hearts now being in the mix.

The Bookies currently have Hearts as 2nd favourites ahead of Sevco.
I think Hearts will continue to compete but I still believe Sevco will finish 2nd behind Celtic.

A think they will still finish 2nd as well but a hope we don't get to complacent as Hearts, Hibs, St Mirren, Dundee Utd will b hard games especially at there ground. av mentioned nearly every team apart fae them ther?.

Buzz,

It wouldn’t shock me if HIBS came second.

Hearts second, hibs third, Sevco fourth.

Hibs are a good side going forward but a nightmare defensively. Makes them almost certainties for a yes "both teams to score" bet in every game they play. Could easily pump Sevco out the diddy cup though.

If things get toxic in the stadium between the board and fans, we could easily start to plummet and there is a very real chance that could happen. I think the accounts will further the animosity as will dropping points in the league or a heavy defeat in Europa.

Also our squad is very light in some positions, so injuries to certain players could be a disaster.

For those reasons I can't get optimistic about the season.

I think the fans will always get behind the team and tiffos are the best way during the game to target the board.

Otherwise before the kickoff and after it are also good but during the game, all our efforts should be directed at supporting the players, 100%.

{Ed007's Note - That's the balance that needs to be found MIP, Sunday's late entry wasn't ideal but in the space of a week and at an away game the options were limited but something needed done as a marker. Everybody I've spoke to agrees that they don't want any protests/actions against the board affecting the team, the players aren't stupid though, they'll know & understand what's going on and it's up to Rodgers and our experienced players to build up that siege mentality in the squad.}

Dundee united have brought in a lot of cheap quality players, they might be a surprise over the season.

It's is a very difficult balance Ed and I think the majority of fans want some action but finding a balance that those not involved in the fan groups will be comfortable with is going to be challenging.

I agree the players will all be aware of what is going on but it will be difficult even for them to switch off the white noise that is the Scottish biased media.

The yearly quarter finances will be out soon which will increase the anger but hopefully it will be followed by someone quietly going out the back door after a bit if self reflection.

That would not calm the anger but woukd give the club an opportunity to agree it as an opportunity to reset and move in a more transformational direction.
