If the Board sanctions two quality additions in January would that be enough to satisfy BR and would he want to stay then? Would we want him to stay?

Im indifferent about Rodgers staying. He will win us trophies but his style of football is garbage at times and too predictable, which will cause us problems in europe.
But i don't think there's anyway he will be here next season unless massive changes at boardroom level.
No amount of money spent in january will change that as it will be back to the status quo in the summer. And he will know that.

20 years of feeling let down and held back isn’t going to be solved by a a couple of placating signings. This club needs a total change in personnel and attitude at board level. To repeat for god knows how many times, no one ever expects us to bankrupt the club but we need to join the reality at what being a progressive club involves. We’re spending more on tax than players. Our record signing spend is ridiculous in modern European terms.

Trophy cabinet is brimming with trophies and some people are not happy with Rodgers abd want hi m to leave the club. Some people are just never happy.

20 years of feeling oet down, yet winning everything domestically. That just sounds like sevco fans did in the 90's and we called them entitled.
The same garbage football that scared the beeJesus out of Bayern.

Brendan Rodgers has a better record than many Celtic managers and has a genuine affiliation with Celtic. However, there have been spells where the football has been stale and predictable and some of his signings have been disappointing. Granted he has not been backed by the Board when it really mattered this season, but we should have still had enough about us to win the qualifier over 2 legs and the performance in both games maybe underlined his own faults as much as the players in those games? Another factor in why I would like a change, is in three previous games against Sevco (with 3 different managers) we have struggled against poor teams who know exactly how we will play and he has run out of ideas and variables to beat them.

We should be light years away from where we are now and everyone knows it. If our trophy cabinet wasn’t brimming with domestic trophies, these protests would have happened long before now.

The point I was making was that ( and going by all the fan group protests, I’m not alone) a few token signings isn’t going to satisfy. Most of the people running Celtic have been there far too long and show no appetite for progression .

The only reason BR came back was because no other decent offers were on the table down south after he was sacked.
The only way he will be here next season will be because no decent offers from down south have been made.
After the way BR left us, I will never trust or believe the man.
