When clubs are on top they do tend to get the rub of the green but l also believe you make your own luck and that's what happened to Celtic and Liverpool yesterday.
The Kilmarnock defender getting injured when they had made all their subs played a factor in our winner.
It was similar to when Giakoumakis scored the winner with the last touch away to St. Johnstone after their player also got injured.

Edd, your a man with great knowledge (in what am not sure?) av always been lead to believe that DD and BR are very close, do you think that's still the same mate and do you think he will renew his contract. I am hoping the board know that the have made a mess of this window and have apologised to BR??♂️.
{Ed007's Note - It's a tough one mate, I was convinced that Rodgers would see out his contract and leave but after his interview the other day he has very publicly threw the gauntlet down to the board while getting the support back behind him after some dire performances. He's basically said that he is happy to stay here IF there are changes to the way the Club is ran - which is exactly what the fans want too - and if he does leave then we will automatically blame the board, even if there is changes at board level then he leaves the fans will still hark back to this statement from him as a sign that nothing has changed.
Rodgers played a blinder on Friday, he's backed DD and the board into a corner and threw a whole load of fuel on the fire behind the supporters anger, he's got himself into a win/win situation, force change at the Club and be seen as a hero or make sure we win trophies and he walks away with a bit of sympathy and thoughts of what could have been - but knowing after what he's said the fans aren't going to stop until there are changes, he basically confirmed that the board and recruitment process are not fit for purpose. I can only imagine that he must have DD's full backing to come out with some of the stuff he did, there are some rumours going about that PL will retire.}

I would be delighted if BR stayed with us for another 3 years.
The Board should back him to the hilt and let us crack on.

What really needs to come out of this is to position the team to challenge the likes of Ajax, Anderlecht, Fenyenoord etc. not just on a one off but every time we play in Europe. Imagine the backing we could get if we could do that. The players and the manager would get the kudos for doing that and no doubt, so would the Board for the backing.
Nothing less will do.

Well said Ed. BR said today he wasn't a politicians but any of them could take lessons from him.
It was a magical lesson in not naming names but hitting every target he intended and the more I read into it, it may have been with the support of or on behalf of DD.
If PL goes, I think BR stays but only if he is supported in the areas he wants and if the club moves into the 21 century.
If PL leaves or 'retires' it will be at the hand of DD.
It would be a small sacrifice but would make a huge impact with the support.

BR has just finished renovating his house by mugdock park. Spent millions on it. I think he plans to be here for longer. See you later PL….
