If you are wrong about him becoming manager, or about him failing when he does?

08 Feb 2016 08:51:47
I don't bet mate but I think the best price for Moyes is 5/ 1 at Betfair! Can you not give us any more info?

08 Feb 2016 12:31:27
Strong words. You got anything to add to this Ed 007/ 001?

{Ed007's Note - First I've heard about it. I seriously doubt Moyes would work under the current constraints put on our managers.}

If there is to be a new manager in the next 10 days it would be Stubbs even Michael O'Neill before it would be Moyes IMO.

08 Feb 2016 20:46:17
I think Michael O'Neill would be the typical choice the board would go for, and to be fair he has done a great job, it's just the style of football the N Ireland team play, it looks a little primitive, although to be fair he's got to play guys like Maginnes from Kilmarnock, so credit were it's due! I'd be amazed though if he left that job early, and if he took the Celtic job as well on the proviso he would quite that job after the Euro's it would totally kick off over there! They might put up with it a little if it was an English team, but for obvious reasons it would just be almost impossible! Stubbs has really only had one good season, I said yesterday that Paul Hartley has a better CV, and I wouldn't have him as No 1 now. It would also be out of order to leave Hibs without a manager under their circumstances! There's a few older/ more experienced managers out of work I'd prefer to Moyes! If they wanted to take a chance on a young manager I'd go for Markus Weinzierl or Clarence Seedorf!

08 Feb 2016 21:01:30
The only reason I mentioned Seedorf is because I heard an interview that he said he wants to manage in the UK! You have to forgive his time at AC, it's a tough first job, I think there was loads of infighting at the time. He must have the best CV in the history of world football. I heard him say he'd look for a combination of the Italian mentally/ defensive qualities with the Dutch/ Spanish attacking way! He'd certainly raise the profile of the club, which in itself is needed. Swansea were sniffing around him, and I know the great players never making great managers argument, he seems to have a lovely manager, there is no arrogance with him!

Paradise won how can yiu be wrong if its a done deal. I am confused?

09 Feb 2016 18:46:18
Lucien Farve would defo be my choice.

I was told this last year. Davie Moyes has always told his family if the opportunity arose, and was a good time for him he would love to be the Celtic manager. What I was told was Moyes is desperate to get silverware on his C. V and fancies a 2 or 3 year stint at Celtic to make it happen. Think it was November time I was told Celtic's next European match will be under the guidance of Davie Moyes.

To all

I am not the sort that would say unless someone I trust had passed it to me. The person is one removed from a person that would know the score and their relationship is such that I trust the source
If I'm wrong I will expand on why it hasn't happened
Done deal is strong I agree but just passing it on

Take it as you will.

13 Feb 2016 15:42:31
I think PL will go too.

{Ed007's Note - You're not the first person to suggest to me that's happening.}

13 Feb 2016 15:53:03
Ed. it's a legitimate heads up.

{Ed007's Note - (yes)
