Celtic to make a move for Craig Gordon initially on loan however Sunderland want to sell. He would command a fee of around 2.5m and wages of 25k p/w. Celtic are trying to tie this up in the coming weeks. Should be reported next week when English loan window opens

i have heard this from very good source within West Ham namely my brother who is on the staff Celtic have bid 3.4 million for Carlton Cole this has been accepted by the club but with Euro 2012 next year the player in unsure as he doesn't want to jeopardize his chances within the England Squad !!

Hi Ed. Any news on the players we were or due to be having discussions with? Excuse spellings.. Best, Benaloune, Wanayama, Rafaelov, Damari? Surely we'd want at least one to take to Aus? {Ed007's Note - I would have thought at least one would have been signed before the Australian trip, negotiations are ongoing with several players and their representatives. I think maybe the renewal of players contracts is being prioritised to fend off interest, also out going deals need to be negotiated as well}

Any truth in thr rumour of Diomansay Kamara heading up for talks???Also any news on Kasper Schmeichel possibility?? {Ed007's Note - Kamara is supposedly moving to Eskişehirspor in Turkey. Schmeichel is being forced out at Leeds so I would imagine if CFC are interested we would be among one of the favourites, though Leicester seem to be in the driving seat and are willing to pay over the odds to the player.}
