A very happy birthday to Billy McNeill, a true Celtic legend.
Didn't know till reading his stats today that his last Celtic game was my first, we beat Airdrie 3-1 in Scottish Cup final 1975.

I was there too aged 11 with my old man. Remember the singing when Billy lifted the cup. Only one King Billy that's McNeil. Jees was that 44 years ago.

I was there too, in the big enclosure. Seem to remember a Celtic player getting his shirt ripped practically off his back. Was it George McCluskey. I was also at the ‘72 cup final when Celtic beat Hibs 6-1. Only found out recently, that was Jim Craig’s last game. Another Celtic legend. Happy birthday to Big Billy.
