So why have we not signed anyone yet?
As we all know teams don't want to sell any of their first team players at this point in the season unless they have to and if they do sell they want top dollar.
The fact they want top dollar means that transfers often go to the last day of the window. The reason for this is teams who need players become desperate and are more likely to pay top dollar.
When a top player gets sold, then it means the buying team often have a player who is surplus to requirements. So the first signing creates a domino effect and then we see a mad flurry right at the death of the window.
So let's just wait until the window closes and they we can assess our own situation. Hopefully we will have strengthened and we won't be annoyed at lack of transfers.

Our squad is well capable of winning the League by 20points or more a season. Capable of back to back trebles.1 defeat domestically, still in Europe and the panty wetters are looking over at ibrokes signing dross that won't compete v us for many years! Yes 1 or 2 quality players would strengthen the squad which is needed for Europe. We haven't even hit top gear yet so the rest of the season will improve. Enjoy it and keep the faith.
