That's why I commented yesterday saying 5 million doesn't buy you quality now a days. At best it buys you up and coming with potential.
The English market has distorted it for the rest.

Spot on ed he'd walk into most teams in the top half no probs.
{Ed007's Note - Easily, look at players like David Luiz at Chelsea or Phil Jones and Chris Smalling at Utd, I wouldn't swap Simunovic for any of them and there's plenty more I could list that are seen as top players but in reality they are very average at best. £25 million for Michael Keane???}

Oxlade-Chamberlain the one that kills football for me. £35 million for him? He is ok but I would have Roberts, Sinclair and Rogic over him every day of the week. Hell I would even take the Sevco wingers and Dorrans over him too. actually that is too far! 😂.

Do you think we should be concerned by the over-inflated prices? With Britain leaving the EU this is likely to make transferring overseas players harder for us and if average players like Evans, AOC, Barkley are going for over 30 million we are going to be on the look out for pre-contracts for guys from Accrington Stanley!
