Hi all been reading site forever (best rumours site by a country mile) but this is my first post . Not celtic related but higuain has moved to juve for €90 million - this is what is wrong with the game, he's a decent player but €90 million is obscene.

Completely agree mate! And people wonder how Celtic can compete on this crazy market with average players going for 20 mill plus. I reckon we should ditch expensive leagues and pick up players from the likes of the Dutch and Belgian leagues as there are a few players there that are yet to be discovered and bought for 20 million by an overrated English club. Unfortunately with these prices rising and rising, Celtic just can't compete anymore.

It's not only the fees paid to the clubs, but also the wages that are grossly obscene
Something like half the EPL players are bankrupt within 5 years of retiring . Many of them don't know how to apply for driving licence renewal and have to pay someone.
A few years ago in Govan a player got badly injured trying to poach an egg .
