To the fans of RD, is this not enough. will you keep defending this man. Will you not just accept that this man himself is a laughing stock as a manager. He is dragging the club both you and i love into the depths of the gutter. Its past the point of no return surely.

even i'm swaying. i still don't think things are as black and white as made out but i can't take much more of this. i said i'd give rd the rest of the season so i'll give him it.
{Ed007's Note - The players let us and themselves down again, we've too many players in there without the ability or the passion/swagger to play for CFC. There's a mile of difference being a player for Dundee Utd and Hibs to playing for CFC.}

i don't mind players having off days but there's just no fight. that's one thing i demand of a cfc player. there's just not been enough progression this year. i can't even try deny that.

Got to agree with ed, I think the two utd lads are struggling with the pressure. They are not alone even bitton and johansen in previous games have looked like they just don't have any fight in them.

Don't know Ed, Browns done quite well since he came from Hibs, and if Armstrong was played in a more central position, and if Allan was given more game time, maybe you'll begin to understand it does'nt matter where you come from if you're good enough, think the problem is with RD's tactics, and selection,

I didn't realise so many CFC fans watched Hibs games because I had hardly seen him kick a ball before we signed him, I don't watch lower league football since Accies have been in the top flight.
I think you'll find where you come from has a lot to do with it, a player can look top quality against poorer opposition every week, like in the Scottish second division, are you saying Scott Allan would be in any EPL or English Championship team?}

There's no doubt Ed the players let themselves and the fans down but how often has that been the case under this leadership? We must have one of the biggest squads in British football granted half of them at least shouldn't be there but they are. Now the biggest thing for me is that we are constantly reminded by our manager this is a progressive team and they're getting better. I think we've seen more than enough evidence over the last season or 2 that this isn't the case. Surely the time has come for dermot Desmond and the top men behind the scenes at parkhead to look at this, it just isn't working the way a club like Celtic should, and if that means looking at the whole structure of what's going on at Celtic from top to bottom then so be it. From the scouting system, to transfer budget, to manager, assistant manager etc, even lawells position should be looked at. If he thinks that what's happening at Celtic right now is all good and is the way forward then the mans seriously lost it.

A team reflects the manager. We are like Ronnie. Too nice, no grit, no passion. We don't fight for the ball, don't tackle, no passion. Can you imagen an Alex Ferguson team playing with that attitude? You need to be willing to battle and apart from brown I don't see anyone willing to battle. We go a goal down we don't come back. Have said it many many times. Ronnie has to go!

The calibre and standard of player at the club is down to the people or person who bought them and assumed they were good enough.
If that is the sole responsibility of RD then he is clearly underestimating the club, the expectation and reality of Celtic.
There are too many guys who are trying their best, but their best is nowhere near good enough and then there;s the others who are not giving 100% - or are seriously under performing like Lustig, Gordon, Commons [when selected], Forrest, Johansen and Bitton, who are cheating the manager, the team and supporters, It is a shambles.

I agree with the Allan comments, I saw him a couple of times for hibs, and he was the same as he is now. Tries passes that never come off and rarely scores. he might be OK at 5 a sides.

I take the point on board re taking players from Hibs, Dundee Ut etc but a point i made in an earlier post was Aberdeens new boys were reserve team players from Rotherham and MK Dons. Ross County players were all free transfers, loans from lower leagues in England or bought for a nominal value so how come they can perform with a proffessionalism and attitude ours cannot? That's were the manager and coaching team come in and quite clearly ours are not up to it.

Give him a run in the team and find out, one way or the other, can't do any worse than some of the incumbents.
