The shambles, affects the other parts of the team by being preposterously, preposterous. Sooks the confidence right out of them.

RD not being able to see that told me a long time ago disaster was inevitable.

We need three good defenders in January whilst shipping out the shite. Keep Tierney, lustig and Simo. The rest can jump a taxi.

Abysmal.

I've no doubt that after a couple of wins in the SPL, we'll have people coming on here saying what a great coach Ronny is and how lucky we are to have him.
This is the whole problem with Ronny, as has been said before, probably every other manager in the SPL would win the league with the squad we have here, you'd have to be really inept not to.
The only way I think you can judge him, is in Europe, it's the one place where his management skills are put to the test. From what I see he has failed miserably.
Every team loses matches, but what's really depressing about Celtic in Europe the last couple of years, is the total lack of spirit in the team, the same mistakes tactically are made match after match, and the inability to beat very mediocre teams such as Maribor, Malmo, and Molde. I know the squad has been weakened recently, but even with the squad we have we should still be beating this type of opposition.
I wish Peter Lawwell would front up and explain to the fans what has Ronny got that we are not seeing, and what has he done in his career at European level to give us any hope that there are better times ahead.
I have absolutely nothing personal against Ronny, I'm sure he's a really nice man, but from what I'm watching, he's turning us into a laughing stock, I just refuse to believe that Celtic couldn't do better than this.

Gerry I don't disagree with you, however after 24 European games Deila's record is very similar to Lennon's . In fact Deila has lost the same number of games as MO'N '"8" games .
Nobody could argue that Deila's record in Europe is good enough but panicking and getting rid of him may not be the answer .

Old Bhoy

You are comparing apples with pears by comparing the European record. MON lost to Bayern Munich, Lyon, Juventus etc. not complete dross like Malmo, Legia Warsaw and Molde.

The whole club needs a change and more that Deila should walk away now hanging their head in shame.

Old Bhoy, I couldn't care less what his record is compared to any other manager, I am judging him purely on what I am watching.
If previous Celtic managers weren't very good, it doesn't make it okay for this one to be not very good.
I just want my team to try and improve a little, and watch players week in week out who are proud to wear the jersey. I don't think it's asking too much.

Niallh maybe you forgot MO'N inherited some super stars lke Petrov Lambert Jackie Mac and Larsson . He bought in multi million pound players like Valgerian Lennon Sutton Thompson and Hartson .
Surely you wouldn't expect a manager with these players available to lose 9 of the first 24 European matches . I did Deila an injustice he has only lost 8 . The cheapest of MO'N players cost more than all Deilia's players put together except Suminic .

Old Bhoy it does not matter what result MON or anyone else achieved. RD can't cut it. There is no excuse for losing to Malmo, Molde, Warsaw. This is not just a one off it is time after time. Go ahead and defend him. If you are happy to see the club dink into oblivion then carry on. Glad to see you doing your bit for Celtic.
