Hope everyone had a great and peaceful Christmas.
I know some are angry at the manager playing people out of position. I genuinely think in the absence of a preseason, the manager is trying to see what he has in the squad and who is capable of playing in other places. I'm hopeful that he wouldn't be doing that if he was here in the summer.
Also think he is playing people out of position as we don't really have cover in other places, which is a summer recruitment issue. We needed a rw, CB and striker in summer too.
To be honest as long as we get through this period coming out of games with 3 points I don't care how we win. I think everything else will fall in place with more minutes in training and competitive games, as well as a few new recruits.

For sure many of the squad deficiencies are down to the board having multiple failed transfer windows.
However, the manager needs to shoulder the responsibility for playing players in positions they are not suited to. He also has to shoulder the blame for introducing a system despite having very little time on the training field to coach it, which is a recipe for disaster.
That being said the ultimate blame lies with the board for appointing him.

The amount of goals his sides concede is a major concern for me.
At the moment it looks like we need to score at least 3 goals per match to take anything from the game. Even with better attacking options that is not always guaranteed and every team in the league must be confident of scoring against us.
I have seen enough to tell me he will be a disastrous appointment and the longer our board let this continue, the more damage thy are doing to the little credibility they have left. I included Desmond in that, as he was a major player in his appointment.
He thought ange 2.0 but it looks more like Barnes 2.0 but worse.
