Some of our attacking play is great too see. Added to this we don't play back to keeper as much. Once our back line is sorted and a new striker found we will be great to watch. But Nancy needs to replace Ralston with a taller central defender, please.

Go check how many goals his previous teams conceded. Things may improve with better players (which we don't even know if our board can and will deliver) but we will still be poor defencively.
The guy is clueless, you just have to look where he is playing players to see that.
Ralston at CB?
Yang at wing back?
McCowan at wing back and on his wrong side?
Forrest at CM?
Maeda at number 10?
Not to mention the fact he tried to implement a new system despite having very little time to practise it on the training ground and not having the required personnel to play it.
Please end this nightmare, I have seen enough.

Totally agree weejoe, guys out his depth. Can't believe we're in this state. Down to the board by all accounts but wow, we've went from bad to worse. Still not watched since the first week he was here and stand by it. Man's a disaster waiting to happen.

I have watched every game since he was here. We were lucky against Aberdeen, as they got a guy sent off and had played a midweek game in Europe.
We were also lucky Livingston are pish as they had us pegged back for much of the second half.

Belbhoy what games are you watching. Sinsalo probably had the most touches of the ball in our team. All we did was play it to him. AR knows no other ball but back to him, even from the opposition half.
Sinsalo held onto the ball until their forwards pushed our defenders right back, then he passed it to one of our defenders, mainly AT, even when he was marked and he put it out to KT who was also marked. That is how WN teams play.
KT then put it out to Maeda or LM who moved it inside where we had space to break.
When it worked it looked great but it puts an awful lot of trust in the players to get their passing right and for the opposition press to fail. If their press works we are in real trouble.
It also puts a lot of responsibility on the keeper to be able to hold the ball to the last second before getting the ball away and for the receiving defender to receive and move the ball very quickly before being clised down.
That us how WN wants his teams to play, drag the opposition forward and create space in the middle of the park to break on the opposition defence.
It is very high risk hence the reason his teams concede lots of goals.
Even in poor leagues his teams lost many goals, which is something we should take seriously, as the teams we play are better set up to play that way against us, as they are used to sitting back hoping to pick us off, now they can because we are so open at the back.
