I agree mally, the midfield battle is key. for me its a must win game, and given we won't change formation why not try something different in midfield.

why not for this game put mcgregor in his best position, right in the middle of the action rather that sitting on the shoulder of our CBs? Oneil said last week bernardo was unlucky as he plays the mcgregor role, sure he saud the same about OX, so why can't we get mcgregor in the area where he's most effective and can control the midfield?

Hatate won't play again unless injures dictate. He never even warmed up on Sunday. Just slowly walked about. He's chucked it.

I can’t decide if any of the hearts players would be worth picking up for our team?

Would they suit our style of play, are they as good as they are showing?

Hearts have been grinding our results consistently and that’s what wins you titles. Those 1-0/ 2-1 wins always add up, but it doesn’t last forever. The buck has to stop at some point. Will it be the Motherwell game for them?

I am still confident we will win the league but think it may be the last game of the season at Celtic Park.

Sterling banned for drink driving. Not major news, yet Ronny Deila makes the Celtic news in Scotland just to keep the negative stories going. This week usually in full attack mode will be the bears with bear traps on in full attack mode. Their happiness and I use that word lightly as it's ironic as even that is happy anger, hangs on us not winning.

Hearts will drop points as I feel they reacted like they won the league last night. We might too but on results we are still winning not pretty. We also have a cup final. More pain on the way for them. HH.

I also think they are getting very carried away and their premature jubilation and lack of experience might just bite them on the arse. Remember 40 years ago when we pipped them on the final day? Currently we are maybe man-for-man, not as strong but Celtic need to keep the heid and really focus on those three wins and hope.

Anyone pissed off with being linked with half hearts team, a poor Celtic or sevco points tally any other years rubbishs on this league, d mcinnes yes has 3 games to better it but he has less points now than he did 3 times with Aberdeen when manager, there may be some sense in there guru player model that for a fraction of price they can find players we are paying money for but that’s it, the plaudits there getting is annoying me, if they win they will deserve it, but let’s get real whoever wins it is worst winner in 40 plus years.

I expect more SPFL dross to be signed to join the below average dross we already have.

Engles and Nygren will be sold to the highest bidder with only a fraction invested in the team to cover NAP shortfall.

I for one will be hanging on to the last day before I make my decision on renewing or not.

Hearts have now conceded the first goal in 5 of their last 6 league games although they still have a decent record of 4 wins,1 Draw and one defeat in those matches.

Hearts have only won 2 from their last 10 league visits to Fir Park.

Celtic have had 7 midweek games and our record is 5 wins and 2 defeats.
We also won 1-0 against St. Mirren on a Saturday night.
Hearts midweek record is 4 wins, 2 Draws and one defeat.

Strange how we beat Dundee in our 7th last game in both 1986 and 2026.
The same with St. Mirren in our 6th last game and Hibs in the 4th last match 40 years apart.
We also have Motherwell in our 2nd last match the same as 1986.

Yes Tim but Scotland lose that 2nd CL from next season.
We would have 3 CL Qualifiers to get to the Group Stage.

Celtic or Hearts will need to win one Qualifier to be guaranteed a Group Stage place in one of the competitions.

You’re right if Celtic lose the Cup Final then Sevco will need to win all 3 Conference League Qualifiers with no parachute.
That’s if they finish 3rd in the table.
