Commonwealth games going on right across the road in the velodrome over the weekend the football kicks off along with a concert.
Police resources stretched to much. There's no way the police could resource all the events.
So unfortunately for the narrative it's got nothing to do with getting treated with contempt or showing favoritism to another team. It's simply logistically not possible.
Let's stop the paranoia.
