Like most others I am concerned by some of MON comments re transfers and also that he rates Murray ahead of Narowcki. What is most concerning is he seems to support Nicolson and is publicly backing him which puts him firmly in the DD controlled category. For me it is abundantly clear Nicolson is the primary reason we fail window after window.

The Fans Collective and all supporters need to make a concerted effort against him alone until he can take it no more. Banners, TIFO's, chants, whatever it takes. Single him out then move onto others, divide and conquer.

Not buying season tickets?

16 Jul 2026 21:24:03
Aye strange one
Murray is no where near good enough
Most fans want an upgrade on ccv, trusty and scales yet our manager is happy with Murray
At this rate we’ll take Gregg Taylor back on a loan and after preseason is finished we’ll sign
Iheanacho Who will be unfit and get injured within a couple of weeks
?.

Nawrocki was away on loan all last season. MON doesn't know him!

MON has seen Murray close up most of last season.

I'd say his comments are fair. Nawrocki must prove himself to MON.

16 Jul 2026 22:57:08
AP, Nawrocki had by all accounts a decent loan spell and team that finished 2nd in French league seem likely to buy him. Would they take Dane Murray based on his performances? No chance.

What i'm saying is he might not be great but for sure is better than Murray (who admittedly might improve) and can't bench worse than any of the others we have. He deserved a chance under MON imo.

Just sell him get something back and move on.

16 Jul 2026 23:47:11
Murray has proved nothing, is he happy for him to sit on the bench because he wasn’t happy enough to play him in the run in, Welsh is better.

Deep river bhoy, surely you aren't serious? Yes in an ideal world 50 odd thousand wouldbrefuse to buy and yes that should guarantee change, but we don't live in that ideal world. folk need to remember 1 thing here. people buy season tickets not to support Nicholson, Wison, Mckay or Deamond. they buy them for the love of Celtic and watching their team. folk in the main are never ever going to give up season tickets that for them is a way of life to likely never get them back. if you could guarantee folk giving them up to force change would get them back, exact seat then i'd say a good 80%plus season tickets holders would do it. let's remember 1 thing here though. why should fans make that type of sacrifice We're continually told these board members are Celtic men through and through.

well if that was true youd be doing everything in your power to do thee best job you can. for the past 8/ 10 months we've a CEO who's fell off the radar, simply cannot communicate which is surely part of his job, you've a temporary chairman's in Brian Wilson who talks the talk yet does nothing to back up his words, and we've still a majority shareholder who'd rather be anywhere else than inside Celtic park, can't be bothered to even attend a yearly AGM. this situation isn't on the fans nor should it be down to fans to sort. these clowns should do the right thing and read the bloody room.

I think we trust mon and staff and prev manager and prev staff that he just won’t cut it, nawrocki isn’t against Murray, Murray knows he 4th of 4 in pecking order, nawrocki is wanting to be starting, hence mon saying has a hard future,

Nicholson is everyone’s concern, seems issue if there is one in getting deals done maybe there, mon might be seeing a guy work his socks off for club, but if he’s not up to it then things won’t happen, I’m one those people who as a fan and no knowledge of transfer workings put trust in these guys know what there doing, who am I to say otherwise, but I then would look at deals made elsewhere, Brugge Copenhagen etc those type of clubs and ask where are we in these markets where year after year (now) the cl lower clubs (our level) seem to be looking to bring in players our standard so to speak and be successful at it, no panic here, I’m cool with needing to move on nawrockis of this world so our staff can concentrate on who will contribute and bring people in to contribute.

17 Jul 2026 06:32:15
Tha last 3 managers didn't fancy nawrocki.

17 Jul 2026 07:54:53
There is a river and we are currently being sold down it. Again.

We are looking at out of contract players. What a joke MN really is. We cannot compete with the PL and Championship but other European clubs with less money than us can and are better in the CL than us.

Sevco manage to get player from the Championship, although probably players no one else wants however there are markets around the world that our competitors search and find gems for little money compared to searching the championship in England where player prices are out of this world.

We understand we cannot buy young player like Elliot Anderson who was told for 120 m and doesn't score goals but there are players for 6-8m who will be just as good but you need to be willing to spend that money. MN has just admitted he isnt.

Elijah Just would fit in there somewhere and was a standout here last season and had a great WC so why are not fighting tooth and nail to get him or either the guy from Morherwell or the Hibs player.

It seems we don't want to pay a transfer fee, just a wage which is embarrassing considering the level of our wage structure. 6, 7 or 8 m players would be paid near the top of our wage structure, so what level of out of contract players does MN think we can afford.

Does MN think resigning the Ox, Scarrachi, Iheanacho and the Mexican lad will be taken as 4 new players by the fans and be seen as improving our team and squad.

He is incompetent and needs to be sacked or have the decency to leave.

Mally, you stated, I quote, "Tha last 3 managers didn't fancy nawrocki". How do you work that out. It isn't fact, just opinion, and the reason being:

a. Rodgers bought him, but I don't think he got a chance (my opinion) . He was young, but when he did come on I thought he did OK. Like anyone, he needed game time to grow.
b. MON didn't know him as he was on loan.
c. Nancy didn't know him as he was on loan.

Recall what MON has said when he first encountered a certain Lubo Moravcik. How did that work out?

17 Jul 2026 08:51:40
Nicholson is not the issue as he just does what Dermot tells him. If you are looking for someone to blame, Desmond is your man.

17 Jul 2026 10:24:28
Weejoe, totally agree but we won't get rid of DD no meter what we think but might pressure them to get rid of MN.

17 Jul 2026 10:39:00
Sevco on brink of signings the Partizan captain for just under 5m and look like another signing coming in for just over 5m.

They can identify and sign players reasonably quickly, pay goid money, so how can MN and a successful club like Celtic not.

17 Jul 2026 14:18:47
Joe that’s not the case, Nicholson will have power to do so much, and it seems he’s struggling to do that.

17 Jul 2026 15:24:44
Rodgers looked at nawrocki for 2 seasons and didn't like him Nancy could have had him back on the 1st Jan and never and Martin must have been briefed on him and passed signing the Brentford boy on loan instead.
