Now Celo Sarrachi has came out publicly and said him his agent tried all they could to get a move back to us. This is unbelievable how bad this is.

Seems like the might be going for Bakker as a better option can play anywhere on the left. Loved Sarrachi but maybe they have decided Bakker offers more and better calibre of player.

United… the issue I’m now having is that you may well be right but because we have no faith in those at the wheel we naturally assume this is a $hit$how. It’s an experienced and fairly well informed assumption.

Great player but don't think Atalanta will sell for less than £5m tbh. With the scale of the rebuild required would rather we got Saracchi in and used the extra money on a quality starter in midfield or attack.

The only flaw here is MON made it clear he wanted Sarrachi.
The board failed him.

So we had a chance of bringing back Saracchi for a reported £1.5m and who's wages wouldn't be an issue to instead we are reportedly going after a player who will cost around £5m and is on £45k a week.
He also missed 7mths of the end of last season with a knee injury.
Aye, I don't see it happening. Maybe if our so called CEO wasn't terrified of talking to agents, we would get on a bit better.

jon bhoy what's the fee got to do with it i thought people were want us to spend big and stop with the 1 million signings. and his injury was the start of last season he came back in january mate so he recoverd from the injury 6 months ago.
also seasons only run for 9 months so ye cannot miss 7 months of the end of the season ats basically missing the whole season
dnt let the truth get in the way of a bit of negativety bakker is a brilliant signing mate. and so is sarrachi so i'm happy with either one.

United, my point is that if we all think the board are as bad as they have been made out with penny pinching, there is NO WAY that we will buy a player who is on £45k a week and will cost over £5m when we could get Saracchi for £1.5m and probably on less than £20k a week.
Also when I see the MSM saying Celtic are "Looking at" "Preparing" "Thinking about" "Keen on" or any other crap, you can pretty much guarantee it's total bollocks and never going to happen.
This guy may be a great player but has a history of various injuries over the last 5 seasons and averages less than 25 games a season.
I just don't see our "penny pinching" board spending that on this player.

Jon bhoy he doesn’t iv researched him that injury was his first major injury in his whole career hese had a few knocks before out for a few days and weeks about 4 other times nothing major. Once he was at lile he played 35 that season 8 in Europe and he played regularly for Bayer Leverkusen and got okay game time at PSG. Only club hese not really played was Atalanta mate.
And as I says he seems a higher cabire of player so why go for the cheaper option in surrachi maybe there looking to actually get players that will perform in Europe. I love Sarrachi mate I’m happy with either one but can see a lot a positives in the Bakker move and can see why they would go for him instead.
