Losing iheanacho doesn't bother me as has times gone on it was clear he was going elsewhere. if any player around our club from last season needed a full proper pre season it was iheanacho. that being said the way its played out for me is another embarrassing situation brought on by this board. this board, our likes to think he is owner publicly humiliated brendan rodgers for dare asking for better quality. and here wed a player in the door, with the option to extend a year, we let that expire then no doubt haggle at a vastly reduced wage offer iheanacho goes to a 2nd division turkish mob And this week we read how our CEO, Mr Mute says its easier to sign players who are free? Really.
if this facade continues till flag day I hope fans seriously boycott that game, embarrass those clowns unfurling a flag on live tv to an empty stadium. clearly the protests of last season, empty promises from Wison were just that. empty promises.

Of course it’s easier to sign free players, they’re free because nobody else wants them!

I'd be annoyed if we gave Iheanacho a 3 year deal.

Iheanacho is getting 50k a week in Turkey. Good luck to him but more luck to the club that signed him as he is injury prone and blacks fitness.
Yes he scored goals for us but wasn't close to completing 90 minutes. If we had kept him, realistically how many games would we have got out of him over a season.
What is our fall back or do we have one, because he was the playwr MON wanted.

Players like Iheanacho can do more to influence a game in 30 mins than a lot of players running about like headless chickens for 90 mins do.

Aye it looks like it's easier to sign free transfers but not Celtic they've just lost 2 send they had them for a season.

Stevie, would you really take him and pay him for 15 minutes a game rather than another young proven player who can give us 90 minutes and play every game.
Not for me, he was a luxury that we relied on last year, which should never have happened had this embarrassing club spent money in the last few windows.
I genuinely thank him for his goals but I cannot believe he is what we really needed for the next few seasons.
He may prove me wrong and get his fitness back, I hope he does, but that has been his issue for many years and a huge financial risk for us. m imo.
