This Tim is NOT Keen on Keane, he may be a Fenian but I'm not a Keenian
MON all day long, I think Martin will be able to squeeze the money needed to replenish squad from the miser DD
Another year of MON will do ME.
01 Jun 2026 16:30:08
I would definitely have MON over Keane but its DD and he took in Nancy Tim, so anything is possible.
01 Jun 2026 16:32:03
Martin for another year will do me he has a young energetic coaching staff, there's a great rapport and as long as he can motivate the players on match day why not, and there's no one better at dealing with our bias media.

I’d pretty much accept whoever if they get backed, I think Keane can do it with right players, I think mon could do it with any players lol,
As a club there doesn’t seem there will be progressive thinking this summer, will be a bit of fire fighting, but ultimately if there’s any injuries team resembles something competitive we just might get excited.
Mon earned the right to be in frame for job so while things seem not moving or moved fast enough I’m not too over critical of the club, Mon might just provide the unity and time for a season to put things right, we all want new structure and personnel but the right people don’t grow on trees,
Certain individuals who can’t wait to take pop shots at every thing the club they support do is beyond me especially at this time of the season (end of successful season ) (it’s not start or close to start of a new one yet) save some of the moaning for when it’s merited, god knows the club will give you your opportunity.

The criticism just got parked until season was finished but there are still lots of angry and upset fans at how the club treated the fans and managed the team last season.

Correct Wee Joe.

Guys it’s not about the deserved criticism, it’s the headline reacting posts,
Online headline- Celtic speaking to mon next week, reaction same old board a joke waiting too long.
Headline- no deal for sarrachi, reaction board a joke blah blah blah
Headline - shankland joins Rangers, someone how some found that in there was a reason to attack board,
No one’s burying there head in sand here, there needs to be change, for me it’s Nicholson, can be big time Tim all he wants he’s a failure at that job, then hargreaves, he seems to be real issue behind there being any real unity,
Football related as a fan I have to hope that people who work at club and within football full time in general know better than me and wether it’s managers players or football directors when these people are chosen it’s done so from a much better place than a fans opinion, mistakes on personnel in football will happen, I feel this club isn’t allowed to make mistakes with certain parts of fanbase ( don’t help they don’t admit mistakes) but none the less while being unhappy at certain things, I accept failure without prejudice and support the team, some don’t.
Joe you’ve replied so use your as an example- you don’t watch Celtic, but comment negatively on nearly every story, you do also comment on non arguememtable subjects, your last comment above was about braga being better than what we have -true probably but how would you know, so imo you took a comment about a player to negatively comment about our current players, there’s a pattern and while in season I can bear most of it, when we should still be on a high and looking forward to decisions and changes it’s still so negative.
I said day after title win what comes next is scary, this is why, nothings came yet and clubs being attacked, look I’m here everyday, shoot me down in late June July if things are rotten, tell me I told you so I’m
A big boy and can take it.
My opinion, is give mon a season deal, buy time to put a full structure in place, I think it’s too late to do it for next season, fans should get behind that idea,
As they should if a new person comes in, but our trophy haul for some just isn’t enough sadly.

Jaa, winning domestic trophies unfortunately isn’t progression.
Like Buzz pointed out on another post the best financed team wins the majority trophies across many leagues with serial winners clearly evident.
Those in the background have had since Nancy sacking the time to have things in place for this season and have done nothing.
The return of AJ and Engels was monumental for the run in, to a degree the fans being back in helped. But both them players and Maeda will be off.
Loads of clubs have already started announcing signings etc and we are still interviewing 2 candidates.
Nothing to be positive about so far in my opinion. It’s not about being told you were wrong, or I was right if things continue as they have.
All we want is pro active positivity and not the constant re-active, negative stories on our bids falling well short and then signing absolute waters for £5 million a piece
To make things worse we have World Cup which no doubt will seem to hinder our progress, as other clubs get deals done early.

Jaa, like you, next season scares me. Maybe like 20 odd players out the door from this squad, potential new manager, maybe the same board and same mistakes as last season all over again. I always hate the close season as you fear the worst for the new season.
A few new signings and a decent preseason usually settles those nerves a little, gets you slightly optimistic only to realise it's rinse and repeat.
02 Jun 2026 19:56:46
Jaa how is saying someone is better than what we have being negative about our players? I did not criticise anyone, I was merely pointing out something that I believed to be factually correct and something you agreed with. Stop looking for things that are not there. As freud once said "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
You also say how would I know but are forgetting that I watched the team most of the season.
As has already been pointed out to you, this is not about being right or wrong. This is about getting rid of the Desmond's for the good of the club. Removing Nicholson and Hargreaves is pointless, as they are mere pawns.
If you don't want to join us dissenters, that is fine by me but that does not mean I intend to stop attacking the board and the disharmony is not going away anytime soon as I can see lots more protests and fan bannings next season.

Certain people should be held accountable for failings, but same board same mistakes, sorry guys I’ve been on site for years and most weren’t bleating about mistakes at end of treble trebles and quad trebles, and winning domestic trophies is bread and butter butter and we’re still doing it, 50 mill can get you absolutely no where (sevco) in today’s market so structure and vision is needed not just the spending that some demand, my point is a season is defined by its success and we can’t deny it, we can’t deny boards stance pre last summer they invested record numbers, my worry isn’t so much about the board and more about the football market, what we get for our money, lack of quality on pitch available and off it to build a structure (games littered with charlatans in suits that think they know football) and I think board feel the same and it scares them from trying, just my opinion, progression in today’s football is pie in sky, I want to be able to compete the way br did up to the Bayern game, I don’t think we will ever eclipse that but doing it regularly would be good, however I’m happy to compete domestically season on season, it’s worked for hundreds 20 odd years.
