Reports today say DD has promised our coach at least 4 new players, with the first looking like to be the Quarabag player Duran, who looks the part
But, and there is always a but with DD
If 4 players coming in, you can bet at least 4 will go out

Underwhelming if that's the case. We're short at LB and RB cover is Ralston or Donovan the answer if Johnston has another long term injury? Need a better LW as Tounetki has no end product and Maeda is likely off. RW is Yang and Forrest going to be enough? Midfield needs major surgery especially if we are to lose Engels, Hatate, Nygren and Bernardo.
And we need a main ST. Rumour has it Iheanacho has maybe signed for another year. Is Iheanacho, Duran and Osmand going to be enough firepower for our toothless attack?

That is what the headline said but if you read the article. DD didn't promise anything and that is just Peter grants opinion. He said he thinks Martin O'Neil would have got assurances and that would have been 2 strikers, 1 midfielder and 1 centre back.

Even if it was 4 in 4 out, it’s normal, and even more normal to be 8/ 9 out 4 in, if it’s an upgrade in and the total waste of deadwood out, that’s in a normal season, and our squad is honking.
It will take 2 summer windows, if allowed, to get back to half decent.

4 players? I'm hoping he's number dyslexic and that figure is closer to 9, whilst we get rid of the dross.
