We all know hatate on his day is unplayable the problem is they are very far and few between. I hate a player being injured but hopefully now and while hatate has been so sub par Brendan (don't worry made sure my fone didn't auto correct it before people get there knickers in a twist as if a was using that other mobs patter) uses nygren in hatates advance position to see if he plays better.
I wouldn't say Nygren has played bad definitely not an 8 player too weak, and we can finally see what a lot of people have been raving about him. Plus removes that unbalanced starting midfield. I know brendan won't do it but I would like McGregor rested and try Engels as a 6, Nygren in the advanced and either Bernardo or McGowan in the 8,

That's not Engels' role though Johnny. Until we get a proper CDM in the door we'll never have the corrwct balance that will take us to the next level. I've defended Hatate plenty. His work rate is excellent at times and he's often the player showing. But as you say, what he actually does with the ball is far too inconsistent. For now I'd drop him. Keep McGregor as the deeper player, give Engels a proper run at CM and use Nygren in a more advanced central position.
