I know all the attention over the last 12hrs has all been on Rodgers but I'm surprised no one is talking about Kennedy also walking.
I was totally surprised by that also considering the last time BR walked he tried to take Kennedy with him and he said no.

Is the club that bad now that someone who seemed to have a job for life walked also?

Who said he walked? Rodgers certainly didn't, he was 100% told his time was up.

Kennedy leaving has been mentioned a few times on this forum already Jonbhoy.
I think 27yrs at the club is a great run for anyone, and personally speaking, I'd like to see a clear out of the back room staff.
Whether JK is away in order to join BR at another club, or MON is looking to bring in his own team and there's no role for JK in the new set up, a fresh start may do them and the club some good.

Maybe he understands it's time for a change at Celtic. No more jobs for the boys.

MON should in no way be choosing any back ground staff IF this is an interim appointment.
If we are looking to bring in a permanent manager then the coaches already at the club should be able to take care of the team for a few games until the new manager brings in his own staff.

Sorry regarding the Kennedy comment, I hadn't read all the other posts.

I don't think bad of any of the ex staff, but really feel the team needed a full refreshment including Kennedy, hopefully br sorts him out at next club,

It very much depends on how long MON is the interim manager. ?
If that's only a few weeks/ months, I'd agree with you.
If however, the club are looking at a specific manager (s) who are currently under contract with another club and have been told categorically nothing will happen until the summer, then I'd give MON everything he requires to win the treble.
