Take 5 probable starters from any team due to injury, add a bit of poor form and negativity around the club, add other starters who a new to club and Scottish game having to hit ground running, and where we are isn’t a surprise, what also is just not a surprise is how a section of the entitled rotten to the core fanbase reacts, best supporters in world when winning……but well the comments on social media, empty seats etc will complete that sentence for me ….
I’m not happy with what I’m seeing but writing your own team off after 9 games come on …. think il stay off the socials and forums for a while.

Hearts are currently having a purple patch but that won’t last.
They’ve also struggled in league games this season with 3 injury time winners already against Dundee Utd, Livingston and Hibs,
Hearts also got a 3-3 draw after being 3-0 down to Motherwell.
Celtic just need to ride this storm because it’s a long campaign.

That is why you need strength in every position and our board failed to do that.
The fans are not pissed because of how the team are performing, we are pissed because the board have totally fecked up our position of strength, despite us being the richest we have ever been.
We sold kyogo in January for 10 million, we have still not replaced him, 9 months later and to make matters worse. I stead of investing that money we thought it was better to give it to HMRC. Could you explain why the board done that?

What? The fans are scunnered by how the team is performing?.

The money Celtic have in their bank account, has no bearing on the amount of tax Celtic pay.

Buzz Bomb. I agree. Good point. Too many spoilt fans throw the towel in. Celtic will come good. There's still a long way to go till the end of the season. IF the board don't recruit decent players in January then the wheels will have definitely fallen off the wagon.

You re missing the point Raymond, we should not have been in this mess in the first place. Also, no one is throwing the towel in, we just recognise that there is disharmony and toxicity around the club and this has a real possibility of derailing our season.

@john - you are just making stuff up. Let me spell it out for you. Celtic sold kyogo for 10 million and they did not replace him. A few months later we paid nearly 12 million in corporation tax because we did not invest our profits.
I notice no one wants to address the elephant in the be room and explain why the board did not invest those profits and therefore paid a hefty tax bill. Surely that money would have been better invested in our squad or infrastructure?
It is not as if the board did not know we were going to have so much money as buzz and myself predicted our turnover to be between 140-150 million when we saw the 6 month accounts and their prediction would have been even more accurate. It is gross negligence as far as I am concerned.

There’s an argument that money should have been spunked on free hit players, for me surely an ageing experienced couple of class players on top wages could have came in for next to nothing fee wise, or just use it to overpay for actual targets as it’s going to hmrc anyway, doesn’t change where we are now.
