I am not by any means sticking up for Brendan but for me I would say 70% the boards fault 20% Brendan's fault and 10% players fault. The board to me never backed Brendan or the team at the winter window or the Summer window. Even though the manager was outright saying we need 3 or 4 first team players. Any fan knew where those positions were for but the board looks like they just ignored him. We should never lose to a team like Dundee in the manner that we did that's down to Brendan and the players on the park. Where we go from here I don't have a scooby. As far as some fans throwing balls on too the park I hope they think of other ideas for protesting other than stopping the game.

The managers request for players will have been heard the first time when he asked for Engel’s and idah so maybe his voice was a little bit quietened because of the catastrophic failure both high value players have been. His requests aren’t being met and for the above 2 players I’m not happy but I’m not surprised.

He asked for a bit of ambition but got nowt and we're reaping what we sow.

I think there has been a knock on effect from the Summer window Tony, which has created a toxic environment, the egos in the boardroom v Brendans ego.
I would hate to think that Brendan isn't giving his all to prove a point to the board. There has been some strange team selections lately. Why he doesn't play Nygren on the right baffles me, he has had his best games and scored his goals playing out wide.

As soon as you say but, games over.
He has failed to find answers at home fir 8 months. I jevervwanted him vack and the sooner he goes the effin better. He has bought more duds than any manager in our history. His style is utterly s hit to watch.
We will lose to Graz, Hearts, Rangers, Midgieland, and if he does, empty him.

The Board have always been profit priority focused with zero objectives or ambition to build and improve Celtic as a football team. Brendan Rodgers must have been aware of this after his first stint as manager and has had several very mixed transfer windows during this second spell with far too many flops, failures and misfits.
The Board - Recruitment team - and Manager are definitely not improving the squad or bringing in much needed quality never mind working in harmony for the good of the club and the resulting toxic environment is probably affecting players almost as much as supporters. Celtic are in a self-inflicted dilemma.
The Board are going nowhere - the manager will be leaving at the end of the season and with that in mind, it would seem doubtful that any serious investment in the team will be made in January? Unless a future manager has been identified with a list of his own.
Meanwhile, it's up to the manager and players we have to improve their attitude, effort and performances to what is expected.
You would think that if a manager was looking for decent offers next summer he would want to be the best he could be and bring out the best in the players at his disposal - but obviously not.
Right now Celtic lack leadership and direction on and off the pitch.

The Board can be among those whom we can blame when beaten by a team playing in average European leagues . However deserving losing to Dundee and the fault must be closer to the playing squad and manager.
BR quite rightly wouldn’t pick any Dundee player to play for Celtic, yetvwe can't beat them . He doesn't even apologize.

Does anyone know a successful club that isn’t focused on making profits .
21 Oct 2025 21:11:11
But most use the profit to better the club not pay a bigger tax bill!

Chasaboy, it surely wouldn’t be right to spend money deliberately making a loss to avoid paying tax.
22 Oct 2025 18:36:18
Who’s talking about spending money to make a deliberate loss?
The money we have should be used to improve the team and the infrastructure. It definitely shouldn’t be used to cover future planned failures because that seems to be what this board have intimated.
Their fear of failure is not the way run a professional football club.
