I'm expecting a difficult match against Falkirk under the circumstances and any win will do.
Celtic haven't played Falkirk in a league match for 15 years.
I was looking at previous home games against Falkirk.
They beat us 2-0 when we played at Hampden Park during the 1994/ 95 season.
Falkirk also knocked us out of the League Cup on penalties at Celtic Park in 2006.
A young Tony Stokes scored the Falkirk goal in Extra Time in a 1-1 draw.
Our last home league defeat at Celtic Park was 2-1 in 1987.
I'm sure that was the same day Rangers won the league for the first time in 9 years at Pittodrie.
You need to go way back to October 1958 for another Falkirk victory at Celtic Park with a 90th minute winner to make it 4-3.

Every game now BuzzBomb is a potential banana ? skin, irrespective of the opposition or competition.
This Celtic side is weak in every single area of the park ? and it's insane that we are in this position, but here we are.
BR and the players clearly need to change course or this season is heading for the rocks.
It's still early doors, but with every dropped point from here on in, we are committing an enormous amount of self harm.
When there's talk of potentially calling back Coatbridge finest CB, you know the ? has well and truly hit the fan.

Agree 100% Pedro ?.

We don't have any physicality imposing players. We need a spine for the team asap.

Absolutely spot on Pedro, I wouldn't back us to win any game of football no matter the opposition. We have totally lost the winning mentality we have had in abundance in previous seasons.

Grim reading! Here's how we have played in 2025:
Played 45
Won 26
Drawn 9
Lost 10
Scored 103
Conceded 44
Longest win run 3
Win percentage 58%
League points 59/ 87
28 points dropped (above includes europe and cups) . Buzz has mentioned before just how good we were in 2024, it's been an incredible drop off since then and we really need to turn it around.
{Ed007's Note - To be fair those stats are just a meaningless concoction to promote negativity. It covers the end of one season where we were still in the CL, we won the league and lost a cup final.
Apart from the Kairat games what losses or dropped points are season defining a week before Halloween?}

Celtic have actually lost 11 times in 2025 if you include both penalty shootout defeats against Aberdeen and Kairat.
